Chairman of the John Birch Society, became a member of the
National Council of The John Birch Society in 1967;
member Citizen's Legal Defense Fund for the FBI, Ad Hoc,
Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Western
Goals Foundation, and a member of the Congressional
Board of [Moon-owned] Christian Voice. His mother,
Callie Patton McDonald, was a cousin of the famous general,
George S. Patton, Jr.; Kathy McDonald, his widow,
is currently a member of the CNP.
"Assumed the
Chairmanship [1983, after founder Robert Welch died] of The
John Birch Society, establishing the Western Goals Foundation
(whose motto was "... so to rebuild and strengthen the
political, economic and social structure of the United States
and Western Civilization so as to make any merger with
totalitarians impossible"), and served on the boards of Conservative
Caucus and the Committee for the Survival of a Free
Congress. 14
In 1979, Congressman
Lawrence McDonald founded the Western Goals Foundation as a
front for the JBS intelligence network. McDonald directed the
organization until his death in the downing of the Korean
airliner, KAL 007 in 1983. Western Goals drew on both private
and official government files to become one of the largest and
most influential private intelligence operations in the U.S.;
WGF was able to bypass legal restraints placed on government
intelligence agencies.
According
to the GroupWatch
15
,
Western Goals had worked with Reinhard Gehlen, Adolf
Hitler's chief intelligence officer in charge of espionage
against the Soviet Union: "McDonald
formed a foundation branch in West Germany in 1981. The
organization, called the American-European Strategy Research
Institute, was set up with a $131,982 injection from the U.S.
office. That figure represented more than a third of Western
Goals' operating budget at the time...In an interview shortly
before he died, McDonald acknowledged that Nelson Bunker Hunt
had been one of Western Goals' "major contributors."

As Chairman of the Domestic
Policy Council and the National Drug Policy Board, and as a
member of the National Security Council, he played a key role
in the development and execution of domestic and foreign
policy. During the 1970s, Mr. Meese was Director of the Center
for Criminal Justice Policy and Management and Professor of
Law at the University of San Diego. He earlier served as Chief
of Staff for then-Governor Reagan and was a local prosecutor
in California. He earned his B.A. from Yale University and his
J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.31
During the Reagan Kitchen
Cabinet, Joseph
Coors
and others from the Heritage
Foundation received a letter of endorsement from White
House Chief of Staff Ed Meese, in which Meese promised
Ed
Feulner, the president of Heritage, that "this
Administration will cooperate fully with your efforts."
After leaving the Reagan Administration, Meese joined the
staff of the Heritage Foundation.
"After the Hasenfus
crash... U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese III delayed FBI and
customs investigations of Southern Air Transport, the CIA
company which had owned the downed plane. But U.S. missile
sales to Iran were exposed in a Lebanese journal on November
4, 1986, and a full scale investigation became inevitable.
Meese told the press on November 25 that while on a
fact-finding mission for the President, he had discovered a
memo in Oliver North's office indicating that profits from the
sale of missiles to Iran had been "diverted" to the
contras. Meese stated that when he informed President Reagan
of his discovery, the President had claimed total
ignorance...Edwin Meese was investigated repeatedly concerning
allegations of influence- peddling and shady financial deals.
He finally resigned on July 6, 1988, claiming the
investigations had "vindicated" him. Subsequent
publication of the Special Prosecutor's report indicated,
however, that Meese may well have committed criminal
acts."

equalizing "The Federal Judiciary" with conservative
and libertarian judges and promote
"Self-Government," and state's rights. Many of their

"April
2, 2001; NEW YORK, NY (CNS)
49-- Hundreds of pro-abortion, feminist and anti-religion
liberal organizations have launched an organized effort to
reduce the Vatican's United Nations status from Permanent
Observer to non-governmental organization, and in response, a
coalition of Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, Mormon, Muslim
and non-religious organizations have joined forces to defend
the role of the "Holy See" (the official UN
designation for the Catholic Church).
"The Catholic Church
has been the number-one defender of the unborn child's human
rights around the world, and that's why pro-abortion forces
are trying to shut the Holy See out of UN conferences,"
Focus on the Family spokesman Tom Minnery told CNSNews.com.
"We Christians from all denominations will proudly stand
with our Catholic allies to see that the abortion industry is
not successful at silencing the Holy See at the UN,"
added Minnery...The removal of the Holy See's Permanent
Observer status would constitute an expulsion of the Holy See
from the United Nations as a state participant," Smith
told CNSNews.com. Nearly a dozen senators, including Bob Smith
(R-NH), John Ashcroft, (R-MO), Ted Stevens, (R-AK), Mary
Landrieu, (D-LA), and John McCain, (R-AZ), submitted a
resolution "commending the Holy See for making
significant contributions to international peace and human
rights," and contending "that any degradation of the
status of the Holy See will damage relations between the
United States and the United Nations." Family Research
Council Senior Director Robert Maginnis, who will be
speaking at the C-FAM press conference in support of the
Vatican's current status, told CNSNews.com that the Holy See
deserves the support of pro-life, pro-family organizations
such as the FRC. "We think that the Holy See is a
pro-faith, pro-life, pro-family voice across the world. It's
been in the UN since day one, always had a voice, always had a
strong moral voice. That needs to be encouraged, and
Protestants, Evangelicals, people of monotheistic backgrounds
should rally around the Vatican," said Maginnis. Also
joining the FRC and C-FAM at Wednesday's press conference will
be representatives of Concerned Woman for America (CWA),
which sent a statement to CNSNews.com in support of the Holy
See's Permanent Observer status..."

In 1992, Chuck Missler was
predicting the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38. Gog and Magog (Arabs
and Kazakistan Russians) were to invade Israel because the
missiles stored in Kazakistan only had a shelf life of 6
years. Missler and CNP's
John Ankerberg
sold two videos about their
predictions of the 'Y2K crisis'. At the top of the
advertisement for the videos, was the statement, "The
Coming Y2K Computer Crisis Will threaten Anyone Whose Faith is
Not in God!"
The two videos they were selling at that time were: What to Do
When the Chips Are Down -- Missler and, Will America Survive the Y2K Crisis? -- Missler and Ankerberg.
Missler is described as a " spiritual watchman, exposing
deception in these end times and monitoring the global
movement and its implications for Christians worldwide."
Ankerberg is described as "one of the Christian
community's greatest apologists." "The John
Ankerberg Show" reaches millions of homes, exposing
cults, false messengers, misinformation and other topics that
are of great concern to the Body of Christ."
God is quite specific
about people making prophetic claims and claiming to do
so as someone belonging to Him and getting the
'prophecy' from Him.
Jeremiah 23: 29
-32
Is not my word
like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh
the rock in pieces? 30 Therefore, behold, I am against the
prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his
neighbour. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD,
that use their tongues, and say, He saith. 32 Behold, I am
against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do
tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by
their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them:
therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the
LORD.
We have God's view about false prophets. And
He always seems to be very clear about pointing them out.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
For a full treatment on the un-Biblical past time of date setting,
including that of the return
of Christ, please see, Date Setting
Hypocrisy. Invariably, false date setting brings shame upon our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ, as non-Christians mock and laugh at another failed false
prophecy. Unfortunately, they believe those doing the false prophecies in many,
to most, cases belong to Jesus Christ, when in fact, they do not.
