That video is disgusting hate filled ranting. Firstly America never was a christian nation as christians nations DO NOT EXIST, for strait is the gate and narrow the way and
FEW there are who find it. Or, if America was christian then genocide is christian? for america was founded on genocide. Capitalism is greed and the exploitation of the poor this is america par excellence. A christian nation?
As to the points Obama made about islam civilization in the middle ages, all perfectly valid, When Europe was a pack of mud spattered barbarians it was in fact Islam which carried classical knowlege forward through the Dark Ages. And of course when so called christian europe was massacreing Jews in the 11th century many of them found shelter at the Muslim courts in spain
And again, if Obama is a muslim SO WHAT? what do you expect from the world? to be comfortable in it. If you are christians you know better than that, or at least should
What is speaking here in this video is that idolatry which is patriotism. that juxtaposition of "We have never been at war with Islam" with footage of the planes crashing on 9/11 was simply infamatory
It is very interesing that at a certain point all rational thought goes out of the window and emotion takes over. in many cases patriotism is that point, as with that obscene video.
So Obama is a Muslim, SO WHAT??
Do you claim that he is a traitor to the US as the English claimed that catholics as servants of the popes were traitors to the King of England
make no mistake, Muhammad of Mecca was a false prophet and his followers are heretics. I am not endorseing this false religion. But if you love of your country requires hatred of muslims your love of your country is sin. Have you never heard of loving your enemies?
it is slander and libel to turn heretics into criminals. something the medieval catholic church did to those it disagreed with
if you do not then your patriotism is idolatry. can oyu not deduce this from the bible you quote extensively?
IF you really want something to hate, and hating islam is the hatred du jour these days, then i am on the wrong site.
I am extremely disappointed
that you peddle an inflammatory video like this is unworthy of anyone who believes in Jesus as God
By the way SheepW, if you say that if the majority of muslims as moderates are in rebellion to their holy book, how does that refute the fact that there are moderates?
Virtually no one is faithful to any system they espouse. No one is faithful even to their own consciences or the system their consceinces choose.
do you think you are faithful to christ? I now I am not.
So why do you insist that all other groups are unified monoliths. unity is not something people can achieve or sustain for very long
. . and why did this filthy video try to deny the claim that America is not at war with islam as a way of flinging mud at obama.
Bush said the same thing WITHIN DAYS of 9/11. Are you memories so short? are you so addicted to the hot hard thrill of hatred that you do not want to remember?

I posted the link because you were not convinced that he is a Muslim. What better way to prove so than directly by the "horse's mouth"?
The youtube was simply the gathering of his own words. I am not sure why it's inflammatory?
Obama is promoting, preaching, and pushing Islam to the American masses, so yes, he is a traitor. Islam is a satanic, demonic religion that seeks to murder and kill all infidels and been so since its inception. 9/11 was a perfect example of the qu'ran in all its "glory". There is nothing good about Islam - it is an evil rotten tree.
It's a good time to expose the religion, not defend it - and Obama has provided an excellent platform to do so. I never stated that I hate Muslims. I hate Islam, as all God-fearing Christians should.
First, I agree there is no such thing as a Christian nation. There are individuals worldwide that are Christian from every nation. There are nations that might claim to apply some 'christian' principles and include them as laws---but they are not upheld according to Biblical standard regardless the intent. There is no nation that upholds or proclaims Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Simply put, all have sinned, and God offered salvation to all mankind because of all mankind's need of Christ.
Every person regardless of religion needs Christ. That's Biblical Truth of the New Covenant. That's a basic Christian belief. So regardless of who or what someone is, without Christ they don't know the Father. And are lost.
I recall when things went nuts after 9/11 and many people were advocating that everyone including believers contact their politicians in the states to outlaw Islam from the US. I was quite horrified that big name 'christian' leaders were doing this, because when reading the rhetoric it sounded like hate speech. And it is not what we are called to do.
That said, there is no denying that Islam is a false religion based on false beliefs and things are said concerning Christ and others from the Scriptures that are totally inaccurate according to the Bible. I also know that those who have left Islam have revealed the truth of what it teaches, and it is not a religion of love for others as some would portray. I think Christian Prince on paltalk, and his websites has the premiere information of one raised Muslim, who came to Christ and has exposed the beliefs quite clearly. He has tried to educate people so they understand what is actually taught and believed in Islam.
The bottom line is, as Christians we need to view those who don't know Christ--regardless of their current beliefs--as those in need of Christ. We cannot share Christ if we do it in a way that places barriers immediately and prohibits any attempt to dialogue in order to share Christ. Think of Paul with those on Mars Hill, or Jesus with the Samaritans...We need to understand their beliefs in order to counter them with the Scriptures. For example, the false teaching that Jesus was just a prophet..
As far as the current president of the US and his beliefs....keep in mind that all governments are in place so that God's will is fulfilled. And if the current pres is muslim, and his attitude is contrary to Christian beliefs----nothing has really changed has it? Really? Because I haven't seen leadership in any country, who has upheld the Scriptures and proclaimed Christ, including the prior pres. or the ones before that. I saw pretense and wishful thinking about it...but think about what it means to declare Christ in what we say and do, and then think of the things these politicians say and then do...do they uphold the Scriptures?
The video is disturbing because of the chop job. To me it would have made more impact to have him finish his various sentences, so the full context could be seen. However, there were some clear statements that certainly showed his supportive view of Islam. I think what would have been stronger would be him saying he personally still believes in Islam and the Koran which he referred to as the holy Koran--something Muslims do. He certainly knows it inside and out having been raised in it. However, that he was politicing with his many statements was clear---was it before the election---unknown...thats the problem with not showing time and source. Regardless.
I don't believe there is a Scripture that upholds any leadership being Christian in the end times scenarios many think we are in. In fact, we know in Revelation those in power will join with the antichrist. So...regardless of what anyone wants their leadership to be about...the bottom line is...what they are about spiritually and personally. Because I suspect that true believers aren't going to be sitting in counsel with those agreeing with the antichrist mentality...or those leading into that scenario.
I do think we need to factually refute beliefs that are contrary to Christ and Scripture. But I also believe we need to do it in a way that allows for those in that belief system to dialogue...even if they reject what is said. If someone says their Messiah "fulfilled Jesus' second advent and he arrived in the power and spirit of Jesus, just as John the Baptist fulfilled the second advent of Elijah"---we need to refute these things Scripturally. This is a belief of Islam, in a pamphlet I received in the mail. These are the things that matter because politics is of the world, and we are to be focused on the things of Christ. We can't remain true to Him, if we are concerned about these other things.
2 Timothy 2:2-7 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. 7. Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
]Howdy Everyone:
Lords blessings to all, and may Jesus be magnified in our lives!
Interesting topic Shipwrecked, and oh boy, talk about "whats up" with this, Pres. Obama has declared that H1N1 is now a National Emergency. Wow!!!! Unbelievable! I believe this so=called pandemic is one of the greatest April fools prank ever played!
Talk about conspiratorial, I think we have one here! Interestingly, someone named 'Len Horowitz' has filed charges with FBI alleging that a Rockefeller Foundation Group, involved with bio-tech developed the disease for devious purposes, and one can goggle his name to find info on this case.
From what I have read, taking the shot can be as or more dangerous! The vaccine has been produced in China, and is untested, and again, from cyber-news, has deadly agents within its formula. What's scary is that in many US schools it's been mandated for grade school kids.
Somehow, I'm reminded of the fifties with pregnant women and thalomine. This drug caused many unborn infants to have deformities, although it was touted as a cure all to unsuspecting women. Regardless of the fact, that there was little or none real testing on the drug, it was terrible for both mother and child!
Also, I'm wondering what happened to peoples right to decide for themselves and family if they should receive the flu shot. I took a flu shot several years ago for some bad-awful flu that was around and the darn shot almost killed me! The person administering the shot said that I should not have any side effect, boy were they wrong. I won't take another again!
I'm real suspicious of the whole thing, and think it's a scam and a form of gov't control. Anyway, that's my two cents!
In Christ,
Jade
Before the elections I met a Coptic Priest from Africa in a grocery store. I wasn't sure if he was Greek or Russian Orthodox, so I walked up and asked him. He was an elderly man, very sweet and kind. We had a real nice talk about the USA and the coming election. He told me that he was very sad for Americans for they would be voting for a Muslim, and didn't know it. Yet, the whole Middle East and other parts of the world "knew it" that he is in fact a Muslim. It just confirmed what I had read about him, and believed in my heart. All his records were sealed even his passport when he was a child. All his records in college were sealed. Why? The birth certificate seems to be a fraud even other countries thought so, I can't remember if it was Russia or China. So there a many good reasons why many Americans don't believe Obama is a Christian, but a Muslim in sheep's clothing.
Islam has never been a religion of peace. It is political, hiding behind religion. Just because someone is an Arab doesn't make him an Islamic follower.
Being political correct has turn people into "mindless idiots".....being political correct comes from Marxism. Duh! And it destroys the fabric of society in every country.
Take Care and God Bless <><
....seems like Obama can be anything to anyone. Google 'obama's Jewish Roots' and see what comes up there. By his fruits shall you know him....and time will tell.
Lamb, you might be interested to read a letter that Kari Ansari, writer, editor and social commentator on the American Muslim community, wrote to President Obama back in May I think it was.
I will reproduce it here so that you see the plight of muslims in the US.It's a far cry from them being about to take over the States with their Sharia Law.
Dear President Barack Obama,
Along with many American Muslims, my family and I listened to your speech today on the Middle East and North Africa. While I appreciate your encouraging statements to the people of the Muslim world — particularly to those who are currently fighting for dignity and civil rights in their own lands — I also couldn’t help feeling that many Americans are not setting the example of which you spoke when it comes to our own Muslim citizens.
Currently, 20 states have introduced anti-Muslim legislation, with more pending. Some of our country’s lawmakers and politicians have made very bigoted inflammatory comments about Muslims and Islam. Very recently, Tennessee, under extreme pressure, rewrote a bill that would have made it a crime punishable by 15 years in prison for Muslims to worship together in groups of two or more. Organized groups are staging hate rallies against Muslims building houses of worship around the country. Local municipalities are playing the zoning game by zoning Islamic schools and mosques out of the community. Mosque playgrounds are being torched. Muslim family homes, property, and mosques are being vandalized. Children are being bullied and harassed because they are Muslim. Shockingly, last week the Editor of the Gainesville Times in Florida published a letter that called for the expulsion of all Muslims from America. Recently, several Muslim clerics, and also a young Muslim woman were pulled off airplanes for no other reason other than they were dressed in recognizable Muslim attire. This is all being seen through the modern technology’s “window into the wider world” that you mentioned in your speech, but like all windows, you can also look from the world outside and see what’s happening inside.
What does it say to the world when our President speaks about rights for people in the Muslim world that “include free speech; the freedom of peaceful assembly; freedom of religion” when our own people are being hindered from building mosques, and schools, and our right to worship freely is even being threatened?
Mr. President, Muslims in America know that you do not stand with this kind of bigotry and hatred. During your announcement of the killing of Osama bin Laden you said,
As we do, we must also reaffirm that the United States is not — and never will be — at war with Islam. I’ve made clear, just as President Bush did shortly after 9/11, that our war is not against Islam.
We appreciated this statement, however, judging by the uptick in anti-Muslim incidents since the death of bin Laden, the words weren’t enough to resonate with those in America who feel threatened by their Muslim neighbors.
Mr. President, Muslims need your leadership, your strong voice, and your support in this regard. You are a friend to the world’s Muslims, especially those fighting for their freedom, but Muslims need your friendship here on our own soil. Anti-Islam bigotry is getting worse in America — not better.
In our home, we love and respect you as our President; will you show us the same love and respect as a patriotic American family by speaking out strongly against this growing trend of anti-Muslim bigotry?
