I never could figure out what "pleading the blood" meant, which is probably just as well. If you Google "dome of protection" with the quotation marks, a gazillion Dungeons and Dragons-style roleplaying pages will come up. That ought to give people pause who are claiming "christianity" while practicing this. Quite a few "Christian" sites will be interspersed between the occult magickal hocus-pocus sites.

It was/is quite common I think for many to claim the blood, or plead the blood of Jesus, or pray a hedge of protection, in protestant/evangelical/ and fundamentalist churches.

The reality is that Jesus gives the victory, and the protection and the battle is His. We are to have on the full armor of God, but it doesn't list a hedge as being part of that or that we are to be "covered" by the blood of Christ.

Christ shed His blood for our sins, but He is a risen Savior, who intercedes for us and gives us faith, hope, love, and protection and more.

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18. Some teach that they "plead the blood of Jesus" once a month or some other time frame to "gain maximum protection'. Magic or witchcraft comes to mind at the thought of this ritual which has no basis in Scripture.

Instead we see dependence on Christ as the source of our strength and protection.

Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Col 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Ephesians 3:16-21 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

1Co 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Without knowing or understanding the Scriptures far too many people are being drawn into false teachings because the name of Jesus or Christian is attached to it, or some Scriptures are misused to make it appear sound doctrine.

We are called to prove all things--and that to the Word of God. That is how we discern between good and evil and what is pleasing to the Lord.

The Worlds Meditation is about "No Thought".

We are warned about a house left empty.

Matthew 12:43-45 * ​When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. * Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. * Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.


Pretty dangerous.

Instead we are told this:

Philippians 4:8 * Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

We are also told to specifically meditate on the Law and the Word of God

Joshua 1:8 * This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Psalms 1:1-2 * Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. * But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And 8 more times in the Psalms. David had alot to say about Godly Meditation.

It is always dangerous to empty one's mind.....because something else will come in and fill the void.

I believe that Satan counterfeits the things of God. I believe God can heal a person and I believe in miracles. Jesus said, He was the same today as yesterday. Jesus healed people and cast out demons. Today we are seeing a spread of Satanism, Witchcraft and the Occult....in the world and it has come into the church as well. On the East Coast alone, exorcism have gone up 700%.....

I met Johanna Michaelsen when she came up to Idaho to do a Law Enforcement Seminar in 1988 on Ritual Crime and Ritual Abuse. A friend of her's who was a friend of mine, was Lauren Stratford who wrote Satan's Underground. Lauren had come to Washington to also do a Seminar, that's how we met and we become good friends. It was a crazy week end. The Hotel where we stayed at hosted not only the Law Enforcement Seminar, but also was hosting a New Age Seminar at the same time. The halls where we were was right next to each other and Johanna spoke louder in hopes that the people in the next hall could hear her......she's funny and has a great sense of humor.

The supernatural is real. Bad things can happen to you if you venture into the devil's toy box. And exorcisms it nothing to fool with for a novice. I have witnessed several from several different churches, not because I was curious, but I knew the people who were tormented because of their connection or involved in witchcraft, all had very bad supernatural things happen where animals died or went insane and etc.

I met several people in the deliverance ministries and who claimed to exorcise evil spirits. A friend of mine, who sister was a high priestess in a coven in the local town, asked these people to do an exorcism on her sister, there was a whole lot of supernatural activity going on in this person's life for a long time, and she had tried to take her life on many occasions. I was asked by my friend to come and sit in on it with her. These people in the deliverance ministry had truly never experience "real evil"....until that night. It's a long story. There are many out their making many claims, and few out there who can really do what needs to be done.

The Battle is always in Jesus Christ's hands....so is His protection.
