This comes from an article about the Twelve Tribes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israelites See how many of their names you can recognize. The mosaic (so to speak) is on the wall of an Israeli synagogue. The two middle illustrations in the top row are a translation of one tribe's name, and a reference to a king descended from the other tribe.
