Many are using kabbalistic concepts such as pardes, gematria and so on.

What do you think about it?

I used to do Tarot divination, which is "Christian" gnosticism mixed with Kabbalah (Christian and Jewish gnosticism go so well together ). All gnosticism is spiritual arsenic and will lead you into worshipping the god of forces, aka Satan.

Many Christians are intrigued by gematria - I think because of Revelation using the numbers 666. Even I have gone into the gematria side of things not realising what it really was.

Can someone here on this site tell me what the 666 then signifies. I have read many articles on what some of the numbers like 7 and 8 mean in the bible - is this a form of gematria?

Yes, it's all a form of gematria. The problem is that if you start applying numbers to specific things about God, then you tend to categorize things into that view point. God is Infinite. He is not predictable in that we can figure Him out through a number system, if that makes sense

My personal opinion, for what it's worth [], is that number is allegorical, signifying "man". Most of Revelation is allegorical. I think many people spend far too much time trying to solve the puzzles within that book, coming up doctrines and theologies that detract from what we are supposed to be focused on. Running the race with our eyes focused on Christ is the most important thing and loving our neighbor. God has the end all figured out. Those who embrace the anti-christ, if he is a real person, will be led astray. Those who are in Christ will not. For me, it's simple math
