People lifting things from this site without even acknowledging the source, really gets on my last nerve, especially since every page has a copyright notice on it. Plagiarism is stealing, isn't it?
I should clarify a bit, that when I researched the original To Embrace Hebrew Roots series in 1998-99. Barb Aho offered to assist with the editing and then sent the info out to her e-list and posted the articles to her website. Many people thought they were her articles, and a few posted them to their websites as her articles, unknown to me at the time.
At the time of the first posting of the series, I didn't have a website. Unfortunately, she changed some of the content without my knowledge and when I finally posted the series to my site, the articles were not identical for the series and several other articles, including a testimony from another person and the Mark series. Due to the help with editing, I guess she felt they were her articles, and in a sense, some thoughts were hers. When I discovered that, along with some disagreement with other doctrinal issues including speaking in tongues, which she does, I asked her to remove the articles. In the end she reworked the content and added or included some of her own research, to make them her own. It really doesn't matter now. I ended up rewriting the ones she had helped edit and tried to eliminate her ideas from them, while setting up my new website, about 9 yrs ago.
I haven't had contact with her since that time and don't read her website, other than someone sent me info on the date setting issue, and I did an article on that. I simply have no interest in her writings and desire no information from them. I don't want to flame her, but I don't promote her at all. Many appreciate her writings and many do not, just like everyone else. It's a closed issue for me.
I made a mistake in judgment in not thoroughly checking things out to begin with, and hope I have learned from it. It's easy to trust, and not as easy to apply discernment in all that we do.
