For those who are Messianics or ex-Messianics,
what is this belief that they hold that they are
"spiritual Jews"? There is no such concept in
Judaism, so I'm wonder what it is?
Here the term"spiritual jew"means replacemnt theology
the church would be the spiritual jews then.

I don't either, since I don't understand the concept
Quote:Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
I think that is the quote they were using; and taking it literally.

Yes, that is a problem
As emje pointed out, it's replacement theology - which simply means they believe the church replaced the Jews. This is SO terribly wrong. The New Covenant embraces all believing Jews and Gentiles in Christ as "one new man"
This is what "replacement theology" is (I never knew what it meant)? Could anyone get more anti-Jewish than that, and changing what Scripture says about there being neither Jew nor Gentile in Christ? No wonder that Jews who know about this junk doctrine may be bitter toward Christianity.

The replacement is not of the Jews but of the Jewish Theology. The Jews are accepted back but they have to join a new covenant in Christianity. It means we have been robbed of our religion.
