Does God forbid men and women who want to get married, living platonically in the same house (with separate bedrooms, of course) so each individual will know what to expect?
If you have ever known somebody with post-traumatic stress disorder, you know that merely living around them is a chore. Imposing that on a guy who is unfamiliar with it would be unethical. In addition to that I smoke more than anyone or anything on earth, but if my potential man wanted me to quit I would quit (pipe tobacco is easier to quit than cigarettes). I would need to adjust to whatever his flaws were as well. How do you find out if somebody is compatible without living with them before marrying them?
