Hi there, 
As you likely noticed there isn't much of a selection of avatars that came with the original forum program.
I have been working on adding some. They are original pictures from some of my photography. I am still getting the feel of what looks good on the various pics, while being shrunk so small, so some are better than others. But still better than the ones that were there.
If you have a scene in mind, ie, field, flowers, sunset, animal, bird, etc, or a saying, scripture or word that you would like as an avatar please let me know, and if I have something that will work, I will add that to the ones I am making.

Unlike many forums, we do not want a myriad of religious symbols as avatars. In fact, we prefer no religious symbols or flags be used as avatars or in signatures. This is a Christian forum and we want to keep it as simplified in these issues as possible, and do not want this to become a major issue.
We are not wanting to stifle individual expression or offend anyone. Which is why we allow avatars when many forums do not. However, please consider that they are just there for enjoyment, and they don't make who you are when you post. All personal avatars that members post will be considered on an individual basis. Please understand that.
For those who do not see any premade avatars that really strike you as what you want to convey, if you have an idea, phrase, scene concept or similar...I can make a custom avatar for you. Please feel free to contact me with your ideas of what you would like. I will be more than happy to try to accomodate what you are thinking.
