Thirteen Ton Temple Corner Stone to Be Presented to the People of Israel

The holy cornerstone for the Third Temple will be transported by the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement as they march on Jerusalem Day, 27 Iyar 5769 (May 21, 2009). It will be driven from Ammunition Hill to the Jaffa Gate, along the western walls of the Old City to the downtown streets of Jerusalem. There it will be presented to the people of Israel and to the entire world for the first time since the destruction of the Holy Temple in 70 CE.

I know that some Christians get excited when they see news like this but for me that 3rd Temple which I do believe will be built again will be an abomination in itself (tho not the abomination of desolation). As Jesus was our Supreme Sacrifice.

Very interesting article, 4given! I agree that the third temple will be an abomination...it will not be according to God's design.

I understand about the ban bot....I got "hit" by that little guy three times in a week..kind of like a "spiritual experience"!

When I read the opening statement from the temple mount faithful site, I immediately thought of what Jesus said, being the Cornerstone:

Joh 2:19 Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Luk 20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

Eph 2:20 And are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

1Pe 2:6 Why also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded.
