With many Newbies joining simply to spam their junk, beliefs or whatever, just as Newbies are not to post any links/urls in any posts -including their signatures--until they have 50 posts, we are now requiring that Newbies do not attempt to Start Threads--other than their Introduce Yourself thread-- until they have posted 50 or more posts.

***Please note, that you may post and use links to the SeekGod.ca website articles or forum links.**** Readers are being directed in the Contact information of the SeekGod.ca website, to bring questions or comments, or further information requests to the forum. There is also a specific section set up to deal directly with SeekGod.ca articles if people wish to address them there or in any appropriate thread..

UPDATE December 12, 2011 >
As a Trial, Newbies are going to be allowed to start threads in the General Discussion section,which is just below The Endtimes section. THis will be a allowed as long as those threads and discussion, are NOT used for doctrinal discussions which belong in the other sections of the board; that is, the main Discussion Boards and The Endtimes section. **One caution would be in the Share a Favorite Scripture and What it Means to You----that must not be used to promote a huge doctrinal discussion but rather, merely as a way to encourage others, for example.

>>3John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

As a parent this gives me great peace and joy to know that our children walk with Christ.<<<

That type of Scriptural sharing.

Or> I was looking for some verses to help me deal with ? and here's what I found....
END UPDATE

Instead of applying themselves to addressing already discussed topics, many are trying to bypass what has already been said and spam their views. That is not going to be allowed to happen.

When people choose to join they are required to have read the Forum rules and agree to them in order to take part in this forum. If people wish to 'discuss' things they need to do so with an understanding this is an apologetics forum. There are certain issues we are well versed in---both the arguments for or against, for example Hebrew Roots, charismatic beliefs, tongues etc. That means we prove our beliefs to the Word of God and factually. That doesn't mean we know everything. But what we do understand, we will defend.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Jude 1:3-4 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Php 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Philippians 2:3-5 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

2 Thessalonians 2:2-3 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Colossians 2:6-9 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Ephesians 4:14-15 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15. But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

2 Corinthians 11:3-4 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
