I am going to start this discussion in the Christian section. The question is can we believe what Paul wrote? Can we take it all seriously and as being inspired by the Holy Spirit?

Paul wrote thirteen books ie epistles of the NT, and some include above that count, Acts--which many including myself believe Luke wrote; and Hebrews is believed by many to have been written by Paul , so it behooves us to consider whether what he wrote is sound doctrine.

What do you think?

Yes. Paul showed evidence of knowledge of scripture, and had mysteries revealed to him, some of which he revealed to the Apostles and us, the fruit of which could only have come from God.
If Paul's writings are not trustworthy, we are in a world of hurt. Paul was sent to the Gentiles by Jesus Christ to give us the Gospel. The mysteries were given to Paul. Paul outlines how we should live as Christians. The Rapture is spoken of by Paul. Is Paul trustworthy, by all means, he is trustworthy.

You either believe the Bible is the Word of God.....all of it.... or you don't. Paul is a straight shooter, he shoots from the hip sorta speak. Christians should study Paul's teachings, they were given to us,through Paul, by Jesus Christ. That being the case, we should study Paul's teachings for it is "sound doctrine".

2 Peter 3:15-17 15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.
