Where is Jesus' Body Now? - Vic - 12-19-2008 12:02 PM In heaven or somewhere in a tomb in Jerusalem? RE: Where is Jesus' Body Now? - milordsheep - 12-19-2008 12:29 PM Jesus is Risen, That is the core of what I believe. He has Ascended; (Acts 1:9)....Has a Glorified Body,(Rev1: 13-16) and is in Heaven... But it won't be much longer till He returns... RE: Where is Jesus' Body Now? - Vic - 03-29-2013 06:41 PM Just another discussion possibility
RE: Where is Jesus' Body Now? - YYZ Skinhead - 04-02-2013 02:31 PM I wonder about this as well. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, but I am uncertain if He still has a glorified Human Body. He said "stick your hand into My wounds" (essentially) after He rose from the grave, but does He still have a physical Body in heaven? Isn't there another Scripture that says that He still has the crucifixion wounds? RE: Where is Jesus' Body Now? - Vic - 04-03-2013 09:04 AM Turn to Revelation 1 and tell me what you think. Then Rev 5:6-13 Then Rev 19 and note v11-16 also > Dan_7:9; Mat_28:3 and his eyes: Rev_2:18, Rev_19:12; Dan_10:6 I think, that Jesus glorifed body was seen for the witness it was. but He will appear as those descriptors in those Rev verses. There's so much we don't know or understand about the things of God. We do know that each of us will be changed in an instant, spiritually and physicially our bodies will be changed when all is said and done. I am not sure about the woulds still being visible. ...The lamb appearing slain was in John's vision, but ch 1 shows Christ... I think they are beyond (current) human comprehension, e.g. the reference to wheels in Dan 7:9. According to those prophecies He will have a Body but it will be a supernatural one. It is hard to tell if it will be physical as well but it doesn't sound as though it will. As you said, humans know little of God's mysteries. I very much hope I die before the Revelation prophecies start happening, because they frighten me a lot. |
