RE: Question about Monte Judah - Vic - 08-23-2009 07:19 PM

First, information from my articles concerning Monte Judah, who is a Two House proponent; views Ern Baxter of the shepherding movement to be sound, teaches kabbalah, etc:

From> Example: Teaching & With Kabbalists, Two House, Lost Tribes, British Israelism

Lost Tribes , British Israel and Two House Teachings http://www.seekgod.ca/roodteachings3.htm > http://www.seekgod.ca/roodteachings3.htm#2

Quote:In 2002, promoting Monte Judah, proponent of Two House doctrine, and selling his tapes, it was noted that while Michael Rood was supporting Monte Judah, Monte Judah was supporting Michael Rood.

"NEW! Additional Teaching Materials we recommend, From Monte Judah... Monte is a very good Torah teacher and adds a "Jewish insight" into teaching we often miss with our "Western" background. We hope you enjoy these teachings! Monte also supports Michael's ministry! [2002> 6001.com/update1.htm]

On that promotion for Monte Judah and Michael Rood, two teachings were featured with the first one of Monte Judah's teachings, thus:

"Introduction to Torah"
Teaches the four (4) levels of Torah Study.

P'saht - Plain sense
Drash - Study, Sermon
Remez - Hidden, Secret
Sod - Mysterious

The acronym for the four levels of study Monte Judah was teaching, is called PaRDeS and is based in kabbalistic teaching.

Many are teaching that one must also utilize "PaRDes as a tool for Torah study," with the qualifier, "that this would be within normative rabbinic Judaism (and should be in ours), not necessarily just Kaballah, that is why the rule for being 40 years of age and extensively schooled in Torah was the original prerequisite for understanding Sod." and in order to understand the meaning of the Scriptures.

It needs to be understood that Pardes is an acronym for the understanding of Scriptures via kabbalistic means. It's noteworthy that an article published in the final print edition of the Jerusalem Perspective, written by David Bivin of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research (JSSR) and who is so popular within the Hebrew Roots movement, is not accepted by many within the Hebrew Roots or Messianic movements or Christians embracing these teachings, because of their not understanding or denying the source of kabbalah or Pardes:

Quote: “... students of the Kabbalah speak of Pardes ...which is an acronym derived from the initial letter of each of the four terms (p-r-d-s)....According to the late Professor Gershom Scholem, pioneer researcher in the field of Kabbalah, Moses ben Shem Tov of Leon was the first known writer to mention the acronym Pardes. He did so about 1290 in a composition called Sefer Pardes. Moses ben Shem Tov also wrote The Zohar, which became the most influential work of the Spanish Kabbalists...The Kabbalists were mystics par excellence, and they pursued vigorously Scripture's concealed meanings. They aspired to an elevated spiritual awareness by gaining access to concealed knowledge through scrutinizing each letter of the biblical text and through ecstatic ascents into heaven...Their longing for esoteric knowledge may be traced back in part to earlier Gnostic speculations. Such speculations left their imprints on the Kabbalah...The acronym Pardes belongs exclusively to the domain of the Kabbalah.” Quoted from an article titled:

“Medieval Jargon on First-century Lips”
Author: David Bivin
Jerusalem Perspective

July-September 1999 #56

A book published in 1984 by David Bivin (Director of the JSSR) and Roy Blizzard has formed the basis of much Hebrew Roots' doctrine. The following excerpts from Understanding The Difficult Words Of Jesus represent the JSSR viewpoint on the lack of originality of the Greek New Testament:

Quote:"...Our reasons for writing this book are not only to show that the original gospel was communicated in the Hebrew language; but to show that the entire New Testament can only be understood from a Hebrew perspective. 2.

"It cannot be overemphasised, that the key to an understanding of the New Testament is a fluent knowledge of Hebrew and an intimate acquaintance with Jewish history, culture, and Rabbinic Literature."

Jesus Christ is identified by the JSSR as being "like other Jewish sages of that time". Please see Jacob Prasch & The Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research for more on the JSSR

For $5 one could purchase Monte Judah's audio tape "The Two House Teaching" amongst 23 audios of Monte Judah's teachings in the 6001.com Store, with the statement,
"We have selected the BEST of Monte Judah’s teachings and are making them available here for the First Time! " [6001.com/offerings.htm> .... ]

Monte Judah, a proven false prophet, continues in the vein of 'prophet,' as stated on his website,

Quote:"Our mission is to provide prophetic insight and understanding concerning the return of Yeshua the Messiah to the Earth" [http://www.lionlamb.net/]

Here we have the binding together of kabbalists, Two House, Lost tribes and British Israel teachings.

**In the September/October 2005 issue of Monte Judah's newsletter, Yavoh, he presented his teaching of the falsehood of the book of Hebrews, and why all should reject it and uphold the requirement to be under the Law of the Old Testament, thereby negating the New Covenant and being saved by grace through Jesus Christ. RE: Question about Monte Judah - Vic - 08-23-2009 07:39 PM

Just a little history:

In 1982 Monte Judah developed a computer program which integrated kabbalist gematria, which is how and when he "figured out" that Prince Charles was the 'antimessiah.' He taught that concept from his earliest predictions, and has continued with incorporating them whenever it suits. The following was from 2005, although one can review his teachings from the 90's and see he has maintained this belief throughout. .Th_smiley_writer

From an article called The Prince Who Is to Come found at > http://pillar-of-enoch.com/essays/Prince-Who-Is-To-Come.html sub section> "The Number of His Name", Monte Judah wrote:

Quote: "Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six. REV 13:18
This is one of the most fascinating and intriguing verses in all prophetic Scripture. This verse has caused more Bible teachers and students to chase their tails than any other verse. How do you calculate the number? Obviously, each letter must have a numerical value, but what value is correct for each letter?

The answer to these questions comes from an understanding of the ancient classic languages of Hebrew and Greek. ...Both Hebrew and Greek contain 22 letters. So, the greatest value of any letter (Tav in Hebrew, Omega in Greek) was 400. The ancients simply used letters in place of numbers to indicate numerical values. ....

In 1982, I purchased my first personal desktop computer. It was a giant calculator. Since I was Hebrew, I also knew how the letters represented certain values. I was also a writer and aware of the origins of our English letters and language out of the ancient languages.

For example, the first Hebrew letter is an aleph, Greek is alpha, and English is just plain “A.” The English alphabet originates from Greek (alpha beta) and the Hebrew (aleph bet). I was curious as to whether the gematria (numerical values for each letter) would yield any interesting results. With the help of a friend more adept in computer programming, we wrote a computer program that would calculate the numerical value (gematria) for English. I limited the system only to the first 22 letters as the ancients had done (Hebrew and Greek only have 22 letters). Once the program was written, I was able to type in all the names for all world figures past and present, calculating the gematria for each with computer accuracy. I had no expectation whatsoever for anyone when I started entering names. I already knew Kissinger wasn't the antichrist.
Then it happened. I entered the name “Prince Charles of Wales.” The value displayed was 666. Have you ever heard of an experience called, “tunnel vision?” It is a real thing. My mind focused so hard that my vision contracted to an area limited to the numbers themselves. I thought I was passing out. No matter how many times I entered the name, the calculation was the same. Then it hit me. He is a Prince just as the Scripture says.

....Prince Charles is a prince of the people who came and destroyed the temple and Jerusalem. The honor of kingship has not been conferred upon him and his name equals 666 in English (the common language of our world) using the ancient gematria method.

But that's not good enough for me, I'm Hebrew. I need to see his name in Hebrew calculated to the gematria. For that I had to go to Israel and find an authoritative source for translating his name into Hebrew. I ended up following how the Israeli press writes his name in the Hebrew newspapers. “Nasich Charles Mem Wales” is the name as pronounced in Hebrew. Refer to the chart shown here and you can compare the English and Hebrew names with the corresponding calculations. The statistical odds are astonishing. The name “Prince Charles of Wales” in the modern accepted form of Hebrew calculates to 666 as well.

You won't have any name of another public figure in the world whose name equals 666 in English or Hebrew. Nor, can you find another name of anyone in the world whose English name equals one value, translate it then into Hebrew and calculate to the same value as before the translation. I think this one fact about Prince Charles makes him worthy of much greater observation.

Consider this also. Charles means “man” or “manly.” Revelation 13:18 says that the number 666 is that of a “man.” I could substitute the name Charles for the word “man” and it would mean the same..."

####The actual name of Prince Charles is not Prince Charles of Wales. It is Charles Phillip Arthur George Windsor. 25r30wi

One could wonder how such a blatant error could be overlooked....but apparently accuracy in facts or Scriptural doctrine makes no difference. Itching ears seem to accept just about anything, except sound doctrine. Further, with Monte Judah's claim to be Hebrew is the implication that he knew Hebrew as a language. Apparently he didn't.

It should be noted that Tim Cohen, who wrote The Antichrist and A Cup of Tea, met with Monte Judah in 1987, and subsequently included the same ideas concerning using gematria in English and Hebrew to identify "Prince Charles of Wales" and his name/title also as equalling 666. In my research I noted that Cohen has made claims in some of his statements that he was the originator of that theory. But, he then credits Monte with much information. He also stated this:

Quote:" ....After reading the entire New Testament, the five books of Moses (Torah), and many of the prophecies in the Old Testament, I found myself increasingly drawn to study the scriptures, to the point where I was unable to concentrate on my studies. One day in early 1987, while walking toward Arnold Hall, my thoughts settled on Revelation 13:18. That was the second day in less than a year that God turned my life upside down. On that day, I prayed for wisdom according to what is written in James 1:5-6 and Revelation 13:18. Within one month of that momentous prayer, a local pastor by the name of Monte Judah invited me to an unusual sabbath meal. While there, Monte showed me his preliminary information on what would become the main subject of this book--Prince Charles of Wales. That information included the prince's English name calculation and a rather poor black and white photocopy of an unofficial version of his heraldic achievement. Through Monte, The LORD challenged me to re-examine what I had been taught to that point concerning eschatology, much of which I subsequently concluded to be false.

I returned to my dorm room ..where I proceeded to tell various classmates that I was going to write a book. At the time, I knew only that the book was to concern biblical prophecy. ...While awaiting a decision from the Secretary of the Air Force, I pursued research on a wide variety of scriptural subjects. This research led almost immediately to a color copy of the official version of the heraldic achievement of the Prince of Wales, which I found in a book on heraldry in the Cadet Library.

In November 1987, my resignation was accepted. ...I was required to enlist for a period of three years. While training for that enlistment in Texas, I met another man by the name of Steve Klein...I made the off-the-cuff remark, "In a little over seven years, you won't have to worry about that." Steve oddly responded, "I hear you," and then invited my roommate and I to have dinner with his family that evening. When Steve arrived to pick us up, he brought with him a large copy of the official lineage of Queen Elizabeth II. Up to then, I had said nothing to Steve. The lineage later proved to be of great value in preparing this particular work. ...This book, The AntiChrist and a Cup of Tea, is merely the first published fruit of ten years of research and writing. As such, it was originally a part of a much larger work still in progress. ..."

**In case it is overlooked, Tim Cohen made the statement that the tribulation was starting and would be done in 7 yrs---aka 1994. Another idea proven false. Icon_tea

SIGNS OF THE END TIMES WHEN PROPHECY WILL BE UNDERSTOOD
"...Calculate the number of the beast

Revelation 13:18 shows the men of understanding are confirmed by
calculation of the name of the beast, a man, from the number 666. Using the Jewish Gematria method of numbering (because Hebrew does not have numerals but uses letters for numbers), 666 calculates to the name of one man in English, Hebrew, and Greek. The Lord showed Monte Judah how to make the calculation over 12 years ago. He wrote a computer program into which he entered the names of every known world leader. Only one name computed to 666. I have confirmed that calculation in English and others who speak Hebrew and Greek have confirmed the calculation in those languages.

Riddle of seven kings

This riddle is solved when the name of the man calculated from 666 is known (Rev. 17:9-11)....
This is a seven year agreement (Dan. 9:27) because Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat agreed just before the signing that within seven years Jerusalem would be divided into three parts. The agreement runs to the Feast of Trumpets, Rosh HaShanna, September 30, 2000.

The Lord told Monte Judah to watch for just such an agreement to be made on Rosh HaShanna over 10 years before it came to pass. He witnessed the signing on television while the Lord confirmed the agreement with the announcement that 3,000 witnesses were present.

Prophetic confirmation of agreement..."

** And still he was proven a false prophet...Perhaps using the occult, ie, kabbalistic gematria as the source of 'truth' for his predictions is part of the problem.Th_ththink

Mat 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

James 3:12-17 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. 13. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

RE: Question about Monte Judah - Vic - 08-23-2009 07:53 PM

Monte Judah of Lion and Lamb Ministries taught that we were already in the Tribulation, and that it had started with the signing of the Middle East Peace Accords on September 13, 1993. Thus, the events of the middle of the Tribulation should have happened by Purim, March 23, 1997. Sign0007 It didn't happen.

*issued an apology for the false prophecy at that time, but later stated he was as convinced then as he was later on with revised prophecies on the accuracy of the God-given ideas.

****

Quote: February, 1996 Yavoh newsletter

"After the Lord instructed me to do so, I declared that the Middle East Peace Accord of 1993 started the 70th week of Israel. Therefore, I am warning others to look for specific events to occur in 1996 and 1997 consistent with the timeline and the center event of the 7-year period, the Abomination of Desolation.

To that end, I am preparing and warning others that the Great Tribulation spoken of by Daniel and Yeshua will begin Feb/Mar of 1997. These dates were set by God when He started the 70th week.

Because I teach people to look for specific things, I am criticized as a "datesetter." But in defense of the argument, I remind people that I didn't make the Middle East Peace Accord of 1993 happen, nor did I select the Feast of Booths by the mouth of Zechariah. I am drawing a conclusion based on a Scriptural understanding. Further, I have openly called all men to examine my words and scrutinize them. If what I say does not happen, then brand me as a false prophet, listen to me no more, and heap the ridicule on to prevent others from making the same mistake. But I would remind you in accordance with the Scripture not to despise a prophetic utterance until it has been proven false.

The irony of this whole situation is stunning. I call for the testing of all prophets. I have made my message and its measurement clear. If the altar is not stopped in Feb/Mar of 1997 in Jerusalem, then throw me on the trash heap. But if the altar service is stopped 3 1/2 years after the peace agreement, will you then trust God to deliver you? Will you believe the other prophecies that follow?"

Notice that he stated that "the Lord instructed me to..." and then said he was "drawing a conclusion based on a Scriptural understanding". If it was based on his own scriptural understanding then God did not instruct him to make the false statements. The contradiction of his claim that his understanding wasn't just from his own studies, but from God directly "instructing" him and then labelling himself with the term "prophet." Those 'prophecies were proven false, as are his newer renditions on the same issues.

Since it was proven false---and he stated that he made these prophetic declarations, "After the Lord instructed me to do so", and as he stated if it was false, he was to be viewed as a false prophet and not listened to ever again...which would have been the Scriptural obedience issue for all who bothered with him as a 'leader'.

However, he later noted that many of his supporters encouraged him to continue. despite being a false prophet, and in April 1999 claimed that God told him to "get back on my feet." This, of course, was the same God that he claimed had "instructed him" to declare the false prophecies. God doesn't lie or give false prophecies to those who serve Him. Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy and no lie can be of Him.

Monte Judah almost immediately went back to speculating on prophecy again, on the same issues with his revised theories/dates. And he has continued to do so, with his ministry statements bearing the words' prophetic ministry etc. .

Quote: May 1998 Yavoh newsletter

Where are we in God's end time scenario? It is spring of 1998, and we are awash with signs of the end times. But, where are we exactly? How close are we to the Great Tribulation? Given that the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures are our compass and map to understand these events, what has happened, what is happening, and what is about to happen? Let's review five areas as to where we are and synchronize our prophetic watches ...

WATCH! Watch for the cornerstone to be set, the altar to be built and dedicated.
WATCH! Watch for the Great Tribulation to start with the shutting down of the daily altar service.
WARNING! Do not speak against this altar when it is set-up! God will measure us all by where we stand with the altar. The altar is God's ownership mark on the earth, where His Name is placed, declaring that the earth is the Lord's and everything in it. Speaking against God's ownership mark is joining ranks with the antimessiah and participating in the abomination...

What can we conclude from all this information about the Middle East Peace Accord? First, September 1993 was not the start of the 70th week of Israel. We know this conclusively because the Great Tribulation (the altar shutdown) did not occur 3 1/2 years later (the winter of 1997). The OSLO II agreement was signed September 28, 1995. It could be the start of the seven-year period if the Great Tribulation begins in the winter of 1999. For that to happen, the altar must first be set-up sometime in 1998, so it can be shutdown to start the Great Tribulation day count.

If the altar is set-up and the Great Tribulation does begin in 1999, then pay particular attention to January 25, 1999. That date is 1,335 days prior to the Feast of Booths in 2002. Also pay close attention to February 24, it could be the day the image is set-up ...

1. In 1996 and 1997, we clearly saw the sign of the red moons on three Biblical holidays. Disturbing events happened in Israel with each one as well. The Scripture is clear that we would see signs in the heavens such as blood moons. The comet Hale-Bopp caused a stir in early 1996 and was a clear sign of destruction coming. Now that they have passed, does anyone remember the signs? Has anyone taken warning? ...

If the sun doesn’t get us, then the meteroids will. Apparently, on November 17, 1998 or November 18, 1999, the Earth will pass through the dust trail of comet Tempel-Tuttle. A meteroid (a tiny meteorite) storm will enter our atmosphere. This occurs every 33 years; but, this is the first year with satellites in orbit. These little specks of debris called the Leonid meteroid storm will threaten the world’s 500 satellites with the impact of .22 caliber bullets. Satellites don’t perform well after they
have been shot-up like a road sign.

WATCH! Watch for big power outages, satellite communication failures, and increased radiation from the sun.

3. The astronomical community has made a clear prediction that the earth will be hit by a large asteroid within the next 3-4 years. This is a statistical probability.

According to one scientist, Dr. Tom Garrels, the head of the NASA Spacewatch program, we will be hit and it will cause a deep impact into the earth causing dirt and debris to be blown into the earth's atmosphere. This debris will be sufficient to darken the sun for six months. It is not a question of if; it is only a question of when.

This guy is not alone; this is the consensus position of the world's scientists. NASA and the USAF have active programs to catalog and potentially react to a Near Earth Orbit event. According to Revelation, the darkness will last only five months, but who is counting? ...

1. The Scriptures tell us that a prince of the people (Romans) who destroyed the sanctuary (temple) would rise to power and lead the world to great destruction. He is called the son of perdition (destruction) and he is ultimately judged by the Messiah King. This Roman prince is called the antimessiah and the beast.

It appears that such a man has emerged into the world that fits all the identifying prophecies of the antimessiah. His name is Prince Charles of Wales ...

There is more evidence to suggest that Prince Charles is the antimessiah than you have to prove your own identity.

WATCH! Watch everything that Prince Charles does and says, particularly if he goes to Israel.

2. Since the death of Princess Diana, Prince Charles has emerged on the world scene with unusual vigor and enthusiasm. Evidence is now mounting that he is pulling strings behind the scenes and accelerating the worlds move toward globalism - One World Government. His influential theme is under the banner of Sustainable Environment, Sustainable Business, and Sustainable Government. It is all the same thing - an agreement between business and government to operate in union with the environment. Those who get on board and cooperate fully receive favor ...

Am I saying that the Great Tribulation begins in the winter of 1999? No. I am saying it could and we will know for sure by the events in Jerusalem. Am I trying to alarm people and cause them to be concerned. No. The events themselves are doing that just fine. Have I lost my "marbles" and decided to "check out of this world" like a survivalist nut? No. I am watching closely and comparing actual events with Scripture. I’m saying it is time to be sober and wise about this subject. In the first century, spiritual thinking was dominated by Yeshua’s resurrection and ascending to heaven. Today, our thinking should be dominated by Yeshua’s descent from heaven and our resurrection.

Once the Great Tribulation begins, we will hold onto the blessed hope. We will count 1,290 days and then we will see..."

RE: Question about Monte Judah - Vic - 08-23-2009 09:08 PM

In 1999, Monte Judah again addressed in the Yavoh newsletter the matter of his 1997 error. He painted a different picture about anyone who would hold him accountable for his "the Lord instructed me" declarations. Written in April 1999, we see below, that in the following months and by October that year, he was right back to statements regarding specific time scenarios. In his proclamations and warnings from the October 1999 newsletter, which included "confirmation from God", that the Tribulation was going to happen in 2000. Which didn't happen. Again. Proven false prophet again, but undeterred.Smilies-34787

Please note that all archival newsletters were removed from his website. So the record from his own website information is only available to those who have the research archived. 8836 However, one can search the internet and find longtime supporters still have record of his 1996/97 false predictions and ones after that.

Quote:April 1999- Yavoh, He is Coming> (newsletter) http://www.lionlamb.net/yavoh/apr99.html

"The Bible does not hide the mistakes of our Patriarchs or the men of the Bible. You have heard the proverb, "To error is human." You need not look further than the Bible to see the legacy of many men whom have made incredible mistakes. It is to God's credit that the mistakes of men are not hidden and are dealt with honestly by the Bible. God doesn't gloss over the mistakes of men nor does He overstate and dwell on them. Yeshua's sacrifice is contrasted against the backdrop of man's sins and mistakes to bring forgiveness and reconciliation. The real message of the Bible is about reconciliation and restoration of man and his mistakes.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ROM 5:8

If the love of God is demonstrated in His sacrifice and resulting forgiveness for us as sinners, then it follows that our love of the brethren is demonstrated in our forgiveness of our brethren's mistakes as well. The commandment to "love one another" is not illustrated by everyone not making mistakes; it is best seen when brethren do make mistakes and they are forgiven and restored among the brethren. Every new believer receives this, why does it not extend to those brethren who make mistakes after they have been in the assembly for some period of time? Is our faith a "one-shot thing"? You are forgiven for all your past sins when you become a believer, but you are not forgiven should you offend one of your brethren later. The Bible does not teach that. Yeshua taught, "Father, forgive our trespasses even as we forgive those whom have trespassed against us." This thing about "loving one another" continues on day by day.

In recent weeks, some of my past mistakes have been brought up again. These are not mistakes that I have covered up or tried to hide. They are mistakes that I have openly confessed before God and my brethren. I have asked, bowing my heart before all, for forgiveness. My God has forgiven me and some of my brethren have forgiven me, but some have not. Some of my brethren have decided that my mistakes are so grievous and humiliating that I should never be heard from nor accepted into fellowship again. Unknown to my critical brethren, this is an effort of our common enemy satan to discredit, devalue, and destroy me and the service God has given me. "It is discouraging to hear any report of brethren putting down other brethren. It is the dialogue you would expect among devils in the pit, rather than brethren in the pews. "We Christians are the only people who shoot our wounded and feed each other to the meat grinders. We preach the virtues of forgiveness and being made whole, but we have no tolerance of one another. If our theology or eschatology differs slightly, we cast each other to the side and dismiss their testimonies in entirety. So much for loving our brethren.

I have felt the sting of brotherly betrayal. I know how fair weather friends are. ...I have ministered to thousands, but only a few have forgiven my mistakes ...

In the spring and summer of 1996, the Lord opened the doors of many brethren for me to share insights into the prophetic look of the second coming. In particular, I called upon people to watch closely the Middle East Peace Accord as it appeared to fulfill many end time prophecies. It followed the prophetic scenario to watch even closer the winter periods three and half years after the peace accord signatories. That is to say, I called up all of you to watch the winter time frame three and half years after the September 13, 1993 initial interim agreement concerning the Middle East. IF that agreement was the beginning of the 70th week of Israel, THEN we should see the prophesied middle events in the 1997 winter time frame. Before we ever got to the winter of 1997, however, something else happened.

Some of my brethren in the spring and summer of 1996 decided my whole understanding of prophecy was so flawed that they announced that I was a "false prophet."
. ..Improper motives were assigned to me and other brethren were openly scorned and embarrassed for even mentioning my name or any of the teaching. It was said that I was personally enriching myself and "fleecing the flock." Who were these people doing everything in their power to discourage and slander me? They were my brethren; they were leading men in Messianic congregations, churches and other ministries. They chose to attack and discredit me, preach against me from pulpits, and write against me in publications. These complaints were so ridiculous and absurd that I found myself laughing instead of recognizing the real work of our enemy. I thought myself to be wise by ignoring such falsehoods and slander.

...Some brethren have received my message and teaching in a balanced way. They have become excited about the Lord, and the prophecies;...

. ...and go on to quote me from a statement I made in September of 1996. In that statement, (acting out my frustration for their illogical criticism) I instructed my critics to call me "false" and throw me on the "trash heap" if the Great Tribulation didn't begin in the winter of 1997. I even went so far as to say I would shut down Lion and Lamb Ministries. Did I say that?!? Yes, I did. Why did I make such presumptive and "dumb" statements? There are several lousy reasons: 1) I wanted my critics to stop attacking me and my brethren. 2) I was angry with my critics and wanted to prove them wrong. 3) I wanted to be accepted and prove that I was right. God let me wade right into that mess and make a big mistake.

I apologized for my presumptive speech in April of 1997 to more than 10,000 households. I did not prophesy in the name of the Lord that the Great Tribulation would begin in 1997. I transformed my IF/THEN logic statement into a declarative conclusion. It was wrong. I have repented. "

[Vic note > Recall ****February, 1996 Yavoh newsletter "After the Lord instructed me to do so, I declared that the Middle East Peace Accord of 1993 started the 70th week of Israel. ]

"[b]I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do then. He told me to get back on my feet and walk uprightly before Him....

"...All of my brethren have made mistakes, some bigger than others, but mistakes all just the same. ...Some brethren think that they are doing the right thing by accusing other brethren of mistakes. I think this is our biggest mistake. The devil is the "accuser of the brethren." The God we serve does not go around pointing out our wrongs or dwelling on them to destroy us. [Vic***Read the Scriptures--they are filled with the record of obedience and disobedience and God's views and judgments] He seeks reconciliation, correction and the restoration of us all. When a Christian points out the mistake of another brother, no matter how accurate, and his purpose is not for reconciliation and restoration, then he is doing the work of the devil. The devil does not want to correct anything. He just wants to tear it down more. The devil wants to destroy, annihilate, devalue, cheapen, and decrease all of us. It is in the devil's best interest for us to do this to one another. God, on the other hand, instructs us to restore a brother and not destroy one another or ourselves...

...We are commanded to love our enemies, especially when they are our brethren. It is not something we are to take under advisement. We are commanded to do it. When a brother makes a mistake and refuses help, reconciliation, and restoration then we must leave him to the Master; we do not get to curse him if we refuse to forgive and be reconciled to him. Then we place ourselves at the steps of the Master in disobedience.
It hurts me when I'm accused of things I haven't done or said. ...

I ask my brethren, once again, to forgive me. I ask my brethren to stop reminding everyone of my mistakes and forgetting to share my apology. Please, stop using my apology as the confirming evidence of having done wrong. Please, stop chastising other brethren because they do forgive me. I ask my brethren to argue the merits of their opinion contrary to mine with mutual respect and brotherly love...."

Part of correction is Biblical obedience and using the Scriptures as the standard. Here's what God says about false prophets:

Deu 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
Deu 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Jer 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
Jer 23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

Jer 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Jer 23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

Jer 23:31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

Jer 23:32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
Jer 23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
Jer 23:34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.

Jer 23:36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

Jer 29:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
Jer 29:9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.

"a false prophet," Luk 6:26; 2Pe 2:1; Mat 7:15; Mat 24:11, Mat 24:24; Mar 13:22; Act 13:6; 1Jo 4:1; with reference to a false "prophet" destined to rise with the "Beast" Rev 16:13; Rev 19:20; Rev 20:10 Rev 13:11.

Jesus said:
Matthew 7:15-23 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Part of that fruit of the Spirit is obedience to the Scriptures, sound doctrine and what someone says should be true and verifiable to the Scriptures. False prophets are not of God. It's not about 'forgiveness' on the part of the recipients of false prophets. It's knowing they have said that God told them to say...when in fact He did not. It's a lie. Mistakes are oops, I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that. Th_thtape It's not declaring and publishing what has been said is prophecy directly from God, or God said or told them to say it. True prophets aren't on a 'learning curve' to get it right. Either what is said is given by God or it isn't. 15249

A proven false prophet should not ever be in a position of prophesying or leadership again--because they can never be trusted or believed...that's the problem with false prophets, and those in leadership who remain in leadership after being proven false. They can be forgiven, but that doesn't mean they should continue in the venue they started in. Especially when the same scenarios happen again and again with the same person, still trying to be a prophet. They are. They are just a false prophet.

RE: Question about Monte Judah - Vic - 08-23-2009 09:36 PM

Quote:October 1999 Yavoh newsletter

... With the September 13, 1999 initiation of the final status talks on Jerusalem, we appear to have entered the final year of the 70th week of Israel. There is only one more winter time frame for the Great Tribulation to begin in - the winter of 1999 and 2000. Last month’s article in Yavoh detailed what is converging on the year 2000. Aside from Y2k, solar eruptions, the Biblical year 6000-6001, the article focused on events leading to the start of the great tribulation. With these powerful evidences of God’s timing in our days, the diagram provided presents a possible 10-year sequence: 1993 to 2003.

...... A huge question hung over me in 1997, 1998, and leading up to the present. If the Middle East Peace Accord was the prophesied agreement in Daniel 9:27, then where was the tribulation? I kept watching and kept looking for the Lord to manifest the truth. The whole matter began to weigh upon me as I saw events converging on the year 2,000. Finally, I asked the Lord to resolve the matter for me one way or the other by this fall holiday period. He has. My heart is vindicated. All the signs and the insight God gave me in 1983 leading to the 1993 start, the confirmation He promised me in the fall of 1995 has now been confirmed as well. It won’t be long now and everyone will see for themselves.
[Vic note *recall the 1982 program for gematria and determining Prince Charles as antichrist--we can assume other calculations for predictions were also made in that manner]

But the question I must face is how do I proceed in sharing this understanding. Specifically, do I warn my brethren that the Great Tribulation is about to begin in 2000, having been mistaken about it in 1997? I was convinced in late 1996 when I gave warning. Am I making the same mistake I made three years ago? Or is this like Moses who supposed 40 years to early that he would lead the exodus. Is this now the time to give warning at greater risk to my reputation and possible harm to the brethren? [b]The answer, I believe, is found in the events that will happen this fall and early winter.

I am convinced even more so now than I was then. And, part of that conviction is the actual experience of having made my mistake in 1996. Call it tenacity if you will, but I believe it is part of the prophecy as well.
My part then and still is Psalm 25:1-3. Let me not be ashamed, O Lord. Those who wait upon Me will not be ashamed. This is my heart, but the question remains as to what you are convinced of.

Do you believe that we are in the 70th week, or is it another amazing
coincidence?

I have waited for the Great Tribulation to begin for many years. I believe the Lord will vindicate my faith and those who dealt with me treacherously will be ashamed. This is the Lord’s promise.

Therefore, brethren, please be advised and give serious consideration to this matter. I believe we are watching the 70th week in action. If you believe that this is the 70th week of Israel, then you must conclude that the Great Tribulation begins this winter. The confirmation will come in the anticipated list of events. Let me say it again as clear as possible. IF you believe we are in the last year of the covenant with death, the pact with the grave, the peace and security agreement spoken of by the prophets, THEN you must believe that the 3 1/2 year great tribulation is about to begin.

Now is the time to make your final preparations. Now is the time to watch carefully. Don’t let the cares of the world weigh you down. Assemble with your like-minded brethren.

Consider this: We may be in His Kingdom is less than four years. The world is rapidly growing faint in the light of the last day. May the Lord bless and keep you all brethren. Next month, I hope to share with you what is happening with the European Union early next year. It, too, matches the prophetic events."

***

As we can see, Monte again believed his own prophecy in 1999, date setting and the unfurling of events. Perhaps one could say once a false prophet always a false prophet because Scriptural obedience has been set aside for these declarations, not just for him, but all who follow his every word, as being from God. 13374 That and that his 'ministry' should be supported at all costs. Regardless how many false prophecies and errant doctrines are propagated as God given truth. Reaction

What is most interesting is that even today, using the same scenarios and still revising his dates for his failed predictions and his continued promotion of Prince Charles being the the antichrist, we see his currents predictions that were posted to a forum December 2008:
Icon_runforhills

Quote:OBAMA NATION OF DESOLATION: "...Barack Obama being elected president. His election, however, is consistent with the “beginning of sorrows” spoken of prior to the abomination of desolation and the Great Tribulation.

...7. The Abomination of Desolation Will Occur…
If you held a gun to my head and demanded that I tell you the time frame of the Great Tribulation, when I expect the abomination of desolation to occur, then… I would say that the winter of 2013 (a couple of months after December 21, 2012) is the most likely candidate.
Why does the winter of 2013 through the summer of 2016 look so interesting as the period of the Great Tribulation?

Do you remember me mentioning that there are a lot of prophecies about the Great Tribulation? The prophecies are very specific with many details sequencing events before and after key events. The prophecies are in a Hebrew context. Understanding and interpreting them correctly requires a Hebraic understanding. ....

The Appointed Times (the Biblical Feasts) are paramount to understanding the sequences. Understanding the ancient exodus and the anniversary dates for the judgments is crucial. All of these clues together are like the tumblers in a lock waiting for the right key. The key that fits is a specific set of years, months, days, seasons, days of the week, and the Biblical feasts which match the pattern of the tribulation time line prophecies. Therefore, the time line can be used to anticipate the future time frame that matches it.

The winter of 2013 through the summer of 2016 matches the time line perfectly. We have included a time line in this issue. [link: Tribulation Timeline]

So, am I prophesying when the abomination of desolation is going to occur? No. But ask me that question after we get through 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 when the previous items 1 through 6 have occurred. If the prerequisites are satisfied, the time line will be almost anti-climatic. Once the abomination of desolation occurs, everyone will be focused on the prophecies happening, not the possibility of them happening in the future. Where will you be in 2012? How much older will you be? It’s only four years away. ..." by Monte Judah ww.tboforums.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/8028/P0/

17434 If at first you become a false prophet...keep trying. Booboo

But wait.... Eyerub there are no Scriptures to support that concept or false prophets.

Part 2: Monte Judah's False Prophecies

Thank you, that was very informative. I had not heard of Monte Judah before reading this forum, but he seems to be a good example of how wrong it is to presume to "set dates". I like the point about us needing to watch for Christ's return, and to be ready for Him, not the tribulation.

I also found it interesting that (he) thinks Hebrews should not be part of the Bible. When discussing with my 'friend' that I believe we do not need to know Hebrew language or culture to understand God's Word, I referred him to Hebrews- the whole book. Here are some excerpts from our discussion:

Me:
"I referred you to Hebrews because who were they but "messianic Jews" . The author does not say look back at your traditions to understand and know God, but rather he urges them to follow on, grow in maturity , to know God through knowing Jesus His son who is His final revelation. In many places God lets us know that he despises our /their traditions - it is presumptuous to give more importance to them than God does."

his reply:
"The author of the article---as well as many of the others from all of them I supplied"--did not have to refer to Hebrews as they already deal with Hebraic culture (which you have NOT as of yet). They already understand traditions/have noted them (if actually investigating websites fully--which I suspect you haven't)...and again, as much as you may be seeking to speak about God hating "tradition", you do the same in light of how you stand by your own as if it was anywhere close to how it was originally seen by Jews in the culture."

me:
"Why would a Christian want to avoid Hebrews? Why specifically would a "messianic" Jew not have to refer to Hebrews when it is written first to them and then to all Christians? But I'm not referring that author or the others to Hebrews, I'm asking you to look at it and assess what these authors are saying in light of it. I ask you again, if God is directing the Hebrews to "follow on" to leave their traditions, to mature in their faith through looking at Christ, why are you giving so much importance to these traditions and history? I keep referring you back to God's Word - you keep referring me to websites."

I also referred my friend to Romans 2:

Me:
"However you justified the (Shack) author's use of this female image from a number of articles which say that because the grammatical constructs of the Hebrew language have "Ruach" as a feminine noun, and because in Jewish history and Church history they had "no problem" with seeing God as a female. You also said that if we don't research and look into the history and language of the Jewish people we will not understand the Bible. We went around in circles on this for some time, and I pointed you to Hebrews and Romans 2. As you rightly said context is vitally important - and God's message to us in both books is that heritage and cultural history and even language are not as important as we think they are, and we should move on/ follow on from this and grow in knowledge and truth. I directed you to the whole chapter of of Romans 2, but one verse is particularly apt:

Romans 2 :24 : "For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, (the Jews) as it is written."

Now I'm glad you mentioned the Hebrew Roots Movement, because this is the root of where many are being led astray. Like most Christians I love and respect Jewish people and Israel. I am delighted that more and more Jews are seeing the truth of Christianity. I find their history fascinating and their language interesting,(and beautiful to listen to) and certainly able to enhance our understanding of the Bible. But I hold this view in light of God's warnings and I hold up any article to the Bible and sound doctrine. Unfortunately, because of this love and respect for the Jews, many Christians feel compelled to believe everything the HRM puts out - and I fear satan is using this to beguile and deceive many."

Thus, I can see why Monte Judah and others would want Hebrews out of the Bible. How wonderful that God is consistent through His word, and if Hebrews should be "removed" the message of Hebrews would not be lost. it also shows that if any want to remove part of the Bible, they would have to destroy the whole Bible.

Hi Mary, Wave

Glad the information was of interest. To me, it should be a no brainer for believers. He's a proven and self admitted false prophet. He has nothing to offer according to the Scriptures. But the Scriptures aren't enough for many. 10171

People are trying to destroy the various books/verses that overturns their beliefs. That way they can justify the heresies they promote. Your friend is a typical example of trying to rationalise their beliefs by changing the Word of God---which we are not to do. No

I started another series--it's a long time coming and is still under construction. It's a database of the many doctrines and false teachings within Hebrew Roots, that people ask about. It's to try and supply a generic answer to the many false teachings within HR, so that individuals will have the foundations of Scripture and informaion to be able to refute HR effectively. Blue1
