If there was we don't have it.Personally I think that if its not in the jewish or christian canons then for good reason.
I too fell prey to purchasing one of the supposed translations some years ago but what I came to conclude amongst other things is that obsession with what the heavenly realm may be like isn't a good thing.We are meant to be concentrating on spreading the Gospel and not on speculating what heaven or other realms may be like.
If it had been that important then God would have preserved it for us like He did with other texts.
We have what we need in The Bible.Delving into other texts and treating them as inspired or useful is veering off into dangerous waters in my opinion.And I don't believe everything I see on the History Channel either.I stopped watching it since it seems many of the programs had hidden agendas to subtly erode at the christian faith.

I agree Rose, and also with your point on the History channel - there is a definite agenda there, and it's not to produce accurate historical accounts of anything, unfortunately.
