I had never seen his site before, so I had no idea he was actually calling himself an "exorcist", nor was I aware he had a regular show on the Sci-Fi Channel, of all places. He's a charismatic who can apparently cause evil spirits to manifest in people. He wants the spirits to manifest. He actually talks to them. None of what I have seen him do seems Scripturally based.

Mr Larson has been around for a good number of years. He is a multi-millionaire due to his prolific ability to scam people in the Name of Jesus.

Mr. Larson’s flair for the dramatic, his boldness, and his independence have spawned a legion of critics. Some say he may be genuine but his style is “over the top,” while some skeptics claim he’s made a lucrative career out of preying on vulnerable people and superstitions.

Many years ago I was a charismatic and attended a few of his "exhibitions." At the time I thought everything was real and was amazed. I know better now, but I still have to say it was an incredible show, more fun than going to a movie at a theater.

I was also a charismatic at one time. I saw these kinds of "deliverances" as miracles, and they only made my perspective deepen that it was God. I never really recognized the "show" until long after I left the movement. I struggled for a long time as to how God would heal in such a manner, and yet it be a deception. I did not understand that it was demonic for the longest time.

I am not sure that Bob Larson's shows are demonic, I just think they are a scam to bring in money, much like Benny Hinn.

I don't know if its a requirement or not to answer questions about ones personal beliefs, but just in case it is (and I really don't mind), yes, I do.
