Rick Warren's travels into and the promotion of the emergent meditative movement are reaching lower levels of occult inclusion ....

RE: Rick Warren's & the Occult
There was always something about "Purpose-Driven" that seemed New Age to me, but I had no idea Rick Warren was involved in Swedenborgianism. Wow.
If what Swedenborg said was true then he had a demonic visitation. I've had them. Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath have had them (and Ozzy says he still does). Johanna Michaelsen, author of The Beautiful Side of Evil, has had them. Of course when I try to tell any Purpose-Driven victim that Rick Warren's teaching is New Age they won't listen.

I think Christians have this perception that they can "change" evil to "good" or for the good. Or, as the Charismatic movement teaches, that the devil is imitating God , so they truly believe they have "discernment" as to what is of God or not by the "voice" or the old "I feel in my spirit" canard ![]() Many Christians do not want to hear the Rick is teaching new age, because they do not recognize new age and don't want to. And because it feels good to follow his program, and are probably impressed by all his "do-good" actions uniting the world for peace and well being for all - aka the old "Dominion"/"Kingdom Now" theology revamped. Dominion theology teaches that Christians need to unite and are supposed to change the world for Christ, ushering Him in by man's works.

RE: Rick Warren's & the Occult
same parallel as in the times of King Solomom's Fall into Idolatry "Foolish Man with idolatry" Anybody can be persuaded with the deception in "a so called feeling good gospel" without true repentance!
