What is Sin?
What is sin?
Why are there changes in attitudes towards what is considered sin in the Bible?
Vic SeekGod.ca 3John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. |

RE: What is Sin?
what is sin?
anything less than utter perfection, and that includes our efforts at moral self improvement. It is because i take with extreme seriousness the commandment "BE PERFECT As your father in heaven is perfect," that I am moving to give up the effort to try to be so. I know my view of God is skewed, i see him as HOLY AND TERRIBLE but cannot belve in the love of God the Father. But he will not have me come to this love i ignored that night 30 yearsd ago by watering down the fact that he is HOLY AND TERRIBLE. and day by day he is persuading me on this matter (terrible, BTW is an old word for awesome, as in "terrible swift sword in that Battle hymn of the republic |

RE: What is Sin?
James 1:12-16 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16. Do not err, my beloved brethren.
