the lost sheep of Israel or all mankind

We've had various discussions about this issue, especially with variations of British Israel/Christian Identity and HR at times.

But what does the Scripture say and mean about who Jesus came for in these passages, which are not the only passages that need to be considered, including prophecy.

Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Mat 10:9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
Mat 10:10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
Mat 10:11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
Mat 10:12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
Mat 10:13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Mat 15:21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
Mat 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Mat 15:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mat 15:25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
Mat 15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
Mat 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Rom 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Rom 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Rom 1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

I have an opinion about why Jesus said, "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel"..and why the Apostles were told to only go to the the lost sheep of the house of Israel first and not to any of the Gentiles or other nations or peoples until after Jesus had died.
I also think there is scripture support of my opinion..I am not fully convinced of my own thoughts on this issue as of yet but here is are my thoughts.

God(like a husband) was in a binding covenant relationship(marriage) with the nation of Israel(wife) that He could not be fully divorced from unless one of the parties died, so the whole nation of Israel would have to die to fully sever the covenant or God would have to die..so God came as a man, in the man Jesus to die and then therefor be released from the bond of the covenant relationship with the nation of Israel.

Rom 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Had Jesus(God the husband to Israel) went to any other peoples than the nation of Israel that would have been an act of adultery against His wife(the nation of Israel).
It wasn't until after Jesus(God the husband) had died that the binding covenant had been severed and a new covenant proclaimed in which God was no longer just the God of the nation of Israel but that he would be God to all peoples and nations.

One of the things that crossed my mind is that God said this regarding the covenant:

Jer 31:28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
Jer 31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
Jer 31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Israel had already broken the covenant aka contract with God. Israel broke the covenant. Then God showed He could change the covenant because of their disobedience--and He made it so that a better way would be known. That's what happens with a legal contract. If one breaks it, the other party can exit the contract as well, and it is no longer binding on either party.

Since Israel repeatedly showed they could not keep their end of it, He did what He has every right to do. He broke it from His side also so it became null ---like any contract where the parties break it and the New Covenant was in force.

Zechariah 11:7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took to me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock. 8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me. 9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dies, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another. 10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people. 11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited on me knew that it was the word of the LORD.

The analogy of God being a husband to them and when in rebellion and going after false gods and so on, and referred to as their whoredom or adultery, meaning spiritually not faithful to God.

Israel had been chosen by God to be a light to other nations, to show them the True God in amongst all the false beliefs. But Israel chose to not be faithful many times as Scripture shows. They could not keep the covenant. That is why the New Covenant was prophesied and promised by God, because it was based on coming from HIm and being dependent on Him, not the weakness or failings of men.

A remnant of Israel was going to be faithful. That's why many recognised the prophecies being fulfilled in Christ and believed Him. But that's also why many did not, because they were not believing the Scriptures about Him.

Jesus had to proclaim the fulfillment of prophecy concerning Himself, to Israel first. To the Jew first and then to the Gentiles.
Because prophecy also said, that the Gentiles would trust in Him too.

Jesus was given as the New Covenant, and His teachings were the transition to believing it was being fulfilled in His Life and then His death and resurrection, taking the punishment for all mankinds sins. And eternal life offered to all who believe that.

Isa 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
Isa 42:2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
Isa 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
Isa 42:4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
Isa 42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
Isa 42:6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Isa 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

Rom 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
Rom 15:9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
Rom 15:10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
Rom 15:11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
Rom 15:12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
