Fear v Thrills

I have wanted to work in a scare house for years.  Not a "haunted" house (ghosts, zombies, vampires, etc) for obvious reasons, but mad scientists, human butcher shops with circular saws and meat cleavers, live 10-foot pythons, black-lit rooms with rotating walls, people jumping out at you  with chainsaws.  I have a couple of Grim Reaper costumes including a real antique scythe and I actively collect meat cleavers.  I was afraid of scare houses and thrill rides when I was a kid, but nowadays I crave that sort of thrill, e.g. slowly clanking up the 188' chain lift hill of a roller coaster to a 177' drop and turning riders upside-down seven times, thinking "I'm gonna die!  I'm gonna die!  I'm gonna die!" with each clank.  In fact, riding a roller coaster is less hazardous than driving on the stupid freeways round here.  Please tell me that scaring/thrilling oneself in a non-occultic way is not sinful.

Addendum:  I was watching the news this morning and saw part of a stuntwomen's convention today in Hellywood.  I have wanted to be a stuntwoman for years.  In particular I desperately want to do full-body burns.  Example of what I wanna do:  this video

Of course the video was shot in super-slow motion.  This is my idea of a thrill--well, one of them.   Jumping-smiley-011
