1 Chronicles 23:15-20 King James Version (KJV)
15 The sons of Moses were, Gershom, and Eliezer.
16 Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel was the chief.
17 And the sons of Eliezer were, Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
18 Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
19 Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
20 Of the sons of Uzziel; Micah the first and Jesiah the second.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

15 It is argued that Gershom was a high before the time it was only the sons of Aaron but other then that it is not certain how Moses’ sons served as priests. Both his sons were born before he came back to be the leader to take the children of Israel out of Egypt.

16 Shubael was born during the Exodus most likely because of His name.

17 To only have one son was not common and not often what was wanted he would have been the only heir to his father and the inheritance would go to his sons.

18-19 This covers Rehabiah’s three sons and their children. This would be the majority line from Moses. How they served as priests is not certain. We can come from someone who served God in a great way but that doesn’t mean we will be as recognized but that doesn’t mean how we serve is unimportant because anything with God is important and we are important to Him.
We are to live out the gospel.
