What About The Star of David?

This topic on the star of David is how I found this forum and I have found it very informative. During my search for the origin of the Star of David I also discovered something I did not know.

The emblem of the state of Israel has the Menorah rather than the star of David in it. I found that encouraging as hopefully there is no occultic origin in the emblem they are using. Its only sad they did not use that in their National Flag.

There is no other nation that I know of that uses the emblem of a Menorah is there? Immediately on seeing the Menorah it was a reminder of the building of the temple which God gave strict instructions for and the Covenant of God with the Children of Israel.
