That should put paid to any notions that our Lord did not claim to be the Messiah.

The woman is talking about the messiah, being called Christ
and then Jesus sais I am He!!!

Is t n that as much as saying "I am the Messiah"?

No need for sorrow. Yeah, that's what he was saying, flat out and plain as the nose on your face. How somebody with Hagee's time in the Bible could either mis-read, forget, ignore or not know the content of that encounter gets right by me. Anybody know how he spins that one so it doesn't interfere with his "In Defense of Israel" book and "Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah" proclamation?

PS How do you get the little white quote box to work and why do I need to resubscribe to receive email notifications every time I post to the same thread that I subscribed to receive email notifications from already (I was trying to make that as convuluted as possible but it actually worked out)? Thx and if the answers're already posted somwhere under "How to make this thing work" or whatever just aim me, K?

Blue1 Hey Finney, whenever you use the white quote+ button---push it on any posts you want to include in your actual post--and then start a New reply and they will be inserted, as shown above. Smiley_65

Not sure about the subscription issue. Will look into it.

RE: The Other Gospel of John Hagee
Hagee's thought here is a perfect example of what idolatry can lead a man to. If one admires a people or person excessively one will make excuses for them, which automatically skews the truth.

Another thing: If Jesus did not present to Israel word and deed evidence that He is the Messiah then clearly there is no reason why anyone should beleve that He is the Messiah. Hagee's false generosity in excusing the Jews of the charge of rejecting the Messiah also applies to any unbeliever. He therefore turns apostasy into a fair call, and not a grievous sin.

THis is, I imagine, a corrollary that a man so arrogant and so limited in intelligence never considered, but the logic is plain, visible in black and white.

My father died a few weeks ago, I now live in an empty house (I had returned to it as his caregiver over 3 years ago) Lest I become a complete recluse I shall return here and see what eventuates

Sorry to hear of the death of your father, though I know you not.
What makes you think he (Hagee) is of "so limited in intelligence?"
