Am a newbie at these forums and still trying to figure out how to even post.:what:
Have just found your site and am impressed with what I have read so far. I am from South Africa and I have been a follower of Jesus Christ for many years and through these years have shed many tears at what I hear preached and believed by 'Christians' today. :tears: Its as though Jesus is just not enough anymore!
I found your site today as I was searching for answers to the origins of the Star of David and whether it had occultic origins or not. I was very impressed with the information I found here.

If you have any problems with posting or other issues, look first in the Help section, and then in the Welcome section, where I have several threads with regards to commom problems on the forum.

If you accidentally get auto banned, go to the top of the forum, and look on the SeekGod.ca banner and go into the Contact there. It takes you to my website email, and you can send me an email, if none of the admins are around on the forum. That would be Sheep Wrecked, Rose and me. You can also PM us if you are having problems.

Glad the information has been of help to you and hope you jump right in and post and discuss.

You are right about what people are accepting as truth. And it is clear for many, that Jesus is not enough. Yet, it has always been about Him, about a relationship with Him, about obedience to Him and His Word. It can get disheartening, but He knows and is in control.

I so agree with what you wrote.For many nowadays Jesus and what the bible says is not enough.They need preachers ,teachers and rabbis instead.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Hopefully I will get the hang of sending posts. I didnt even realise one could get 'banned' thanks for the warning.

How would I contact the admins if I do get banned will it log me off?

A few more questions how does one add a pic to the username?

If one receives PM how would you know?

Here's a link that will explain in detail what to do when working on a post and what not to do to incur the prompt auto ban from getting you.:punch:

LindaR and a few others have been auto banned several times, much to their dismay.

It's part of spam prevention, and unfortunately if you don't use the preview post button to edit your post before the final posting, you will likely find yourself banned.

Usually one of the admins is on and we try and keep an eye on things and lift the ban as soon as we see it. You will be logged off and may not get onto the forum-but you can still get to my website.

If you do get banned, go to the top of the forum or my website where it shows the SeekGod.ca banner and has the links to my website. Go to the Contact link and send me an email. I don't always check at night, but usually first thing in the morning. Other members might also notice the ban and send any of the admins a pm to check it out. One of us is usually around, although may not be right at the computer. But don't think it's a permanent ban.

If you look through these threads, there are several that speak of how to deal with various posting issues.

If you go into your control panel--look at the top of the forum in the white box that has several links. USER CP--is what you want to go to.

In there it has things you can adjust in your Profile. Click the Change Avatar, and it will give you the option of the gallery---which doesn't give much-or you can upload a pic from your computer via the browse button. Keep in mind that there are size limits and content parameters. You then hit the change avatar button and it should be there. You can adjust it as necessary.

Same concept if you want to have an auto signature. If you get a PM, it will show as a banner above the forum lists and below that white box with the welcome and user cp links etc.

I've been hit by the "ban bot" man 3 times in a week...mostly my fault because I tried to edit too soon on one of the auto bans....the other 2 I haven't figured out yet. Being hit by the "ban bot" man is like a "spiritual" experience...LOL! Just ask me.
