This matches and reflects - that the engagement ENDED when the groom came to the brides house and TOOK HER AWAY from earthy home (parents) - the rapture -
for the very NEXT year after the engagement was complete - they MARRIED - this is the time FROM the rapture, the leaving of earth, the leaving of an earthly home to a heavenly spire.

The very next year is part of a 7 year period that the bride exists in heaven, wed to her groom - before returning to earth with her husband.
