When I first started researching the movement, it was because I had been given info on two different ministries, and invited to join in. Am so glad that God gave me the feeling really uncomfortable with them, and then seeing some of the error which led to start researching over ten yrs ago.

I have been somewhat horrified at times at the level of deception and dissemination of such unScriptural teachings. That aside from the lack of Biblical and other scholarship of claimed leadership.

Your insights I am sure will be very helpful and encouraging to many.

I have been reading "sheep wrecked's" testimony on his blog. As I was reading it I was thinking "How is the guy going to get out of this cespool of deception?" Then Psalm 40:2 came to mind:

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. (Psalms 40:2)

I'm almost finished with it and plan on making a comment. I also think I know who "sheep wrecked" is...LOL!

thanx for the comments - I read them this morning on my blog - I appreciate all that you said. It means a lot when people are affected positively - I get quite a few comments from Messys who try to preach me back under but, they are barking up the WAY wrong tree

and just who do you think sheep wrecked is? inquiring minds want to know

Hi SingiingSurf,

I think the best way to get information on the doctrine and problems within the messianic movement is to look through all the topics in the Messianic/Hebrew Roots section here on the forum. That is a good way to gain understanding. Not all in the movement believe the same thing, but there are some common beliefs and ideas, which are discussed there.

After that, if you go to my Research section, scroll down to the section that mentions Hebrew Roots. There are a lot of research articles, looking at the beliefs overall, various groups, and leadership. It is quite extensive. If you do read them, and want to discuss any of the information in the articles, you can bring it to the forum in the last section -About SeekGod.ca Articles, or, of it is a particular doctrine, you can start a thread in the Messianic section. Check there first to see if a thread is already started for the topic please. Hope that helps.
