RE: Romans 11:26: And so “all Israel” shall be saved
(06-22-2009 09:00 PM)Liberated by Faith Wrote: Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. The New Covenant already took away the sins of Jacob - all one has to do is believe on Jesus Christ - Jew and Gentile. The mystery is that Jesus is the Deliverer for all nations, not just the Jews. Quote:The Word of God is true. His Word declares that all Israel (Jacob's seed, not the nation) will be saved. The problem is that Paul explained in Rom 9 who the seed of Jacob is, and it's not those who are Jews in the flesh, but all those who believe on Christ. It is a spiritual covenant not a physical one. Which is absolutely incredible!
