Yes, all my sins were taken away. Jesus died once for all of them. He does not have to be crucified again and again like the animal sacrifice of the old covenant. The new covenant is not conditional on my sinlessness. It is that I am the righteousness of God in Christ, regardless of my sins. They have been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb forever. However; we must confess those sins and they are forgiven.

Quote:What was taken away in the New Covenant was the handwriting of ordinances against us... not our sins. We still have sin. If any thinks he is without sin, he deceives himself.

I am not sure of your point here. I agree that we are sinful.

Quote:Just as our sins were not taken away, but the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, the new covenant did the same for Israel. They still sin, they are not sinless.

The New Covenant is for ALL nations, not just for Israel. It is not about being blameless, it is being in Christ which is the New Covenant.
