Did Peter's Vision of the Sheet Mean People & Food?

If the uncleanness or purity of a food was related to its genetic structure then the structure must have changed for israelite grown foods since most foods were clean before Moses gave instructions to them concerning their food.
I don't see how food changed genetically.Research has indeed shown that pork for example can harbour certaiin parasites and thats seafood can contain high levels of heavy metals and pathogens.However foods which we regard as clean such as chicken also contain organisms such as salmonella which can be deadly especially in hot middle eastern conditions where they multiply rapidly.There is also concern that chicken may not even be kosher since the terms used in the Torah do not cover all meats consumed today but thats another rabbit trail

Isa 66:17
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
(KJV)

Those verses seem to be referring to the abominable practices of some of the Israelites at the time of Isaiah or thereabouts.
