RE: Rico Cortes
You know what would be cool Nat? Is if you actually gave specifics regarding proving Rico's teaching to be true according to the Scriptures. It's already been established about Rico and his baseball and other goings on in the world of sports which also includes analysis of his involvement in new age/eastern religious practices. We know who he is. But we also evaluated his teachings.
For example in my post 13 I noted that: "In Rico's audio's there is full presentation of Kabbalah, PARDES, Gematria, (bible codes) and so on" And please look at post 15. So could you explain to me and the readers how that upholds the Scriptures? Based on the Scriptures themselves? Is the kabbalah a source believers in Jesus Christ can use? Does the Zohar and Talmud teach about the New Covenant in Jesus Christ, found in the New Testament? Or does he teach the renewed covenant and keeping the Law of Moses or Sinai covenant? If so, can you please tell me where the Temple is in order to make the proper sacrifices according to that same Law which God said was not to changed? Is Jesus the final sacrifice or not? Also please answer post 23....27...35...36...54...55 And I will ask you the question from post 55 "So what does spirit possession aka demon possession, automatic writing, following false gods, polytheism, animism, meditation and spiritual practices of Zen buddhism, shinto, shaolin, taoism, have to do with someone claiming to be a Hebrew Roots leader, which many think means a Christian, who follows 'the messiah?" Would that be the 'messiah' from the Omotokyo religion, which is part and parcel of the rituals and martial arts practiced by Rico Cortes and his many associates of like mind. There is no separation of these religious beliefs as they are part of the philosophy and practices and rituals of the martial arts themselves. ...67...68...72 Rico claimed to be a Jew, a levite, yet read post 85, 86... Please. Answer those issues for us, and discuss the doctrine issues and maybe we can gain some understanding. YOu believe he teaches "pure truth". Then prove it according to the actual Scriptures and facts. 1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. 1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 1Pe 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. 2Ti 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. Vic SeekGod.ca 3John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. |
