RE: Please Introduce Yourself!
Hello. My name is Ken and as my username indicates I am His'n or His son. In short, I came face to face with Jesus (I am one of those who was so stubborn that He had to meet me much like He did with Saul/Paul on the road to Damascus) January 13,1973. My, how time flies when you are having fun! I found this forum by chance. (Really do we do anything by chance?) While surfing the 'net. Actually I was on another forum and did a Google search for something, (don't even remember what it was now) and found this site. So here I am. From what I have seen thus far, this site will be a good reference and a keeper in my favorites list.
If anyone is interested, I can share my testimony in another thread...Been a lot of places...done a lot of things...Born in 1950, reborn in 1973. Maranatha!

Smilies-30066 Ken, Wave

I don't believe anything is by chance. So glad you are finding the information to be of use. Time does seem to fly by, especially as we get older. Coffeebath

We would love to read your testimony and there is actually a section for testimonies here: Fyi

RE: Please Introduce Yourself!
:Hi to all! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Peg and I've been a visitor to this forum for awhile now and decided it was time to join. I've been a Christian for 32 years and am a wife and mother to 4 and grandmother to 2.
There's so much to share and learn that I hardly know where to begin.I'm going through a hard time right now and wasn't sure I needed to post here or in another place in the forum.
Actually, I'm sick at heart at where my family has ended up. We're involved in the Hebrew roots movement, to make a long story short.I know that a lot of people are in this place now and I'd really appreciate any help or encouragement.

Pk_hrt_welcome Peg,

This is a good place to just get started, and let others know you are here. 030 There is another section farther down the main page for testimonies if you feel like sharing more. That would be good too. Blue1

I am so sorry that you and your family got into Hebrew Roots. Friend

It is a long destructive journey that can end in disaster. That you still can claim to be a Christian is a really good thing. So whatever help you need, or questions you have, please jump in with them. If you peruse the site you will see many threads discussing the issues, so take the time to read as much as you can. Also, look into the Research section of the website--and you will find a lot of articles also. Smiley_65

I'm glad you joined because I think many here will be able to help and encourage you. Hugcircle

Btw, I noticed you tried to post a smiley and it didn't show. It looks like you cut off the actual code. Try to insert the img or the code--which has to have  on either side of it. Make sure no punctuation or letter goes right up against it or it won't show either.

RE: Please Introduce Yourself!
Hi Peg and welcome to the forum ! 14578

I am so glad you found us.

Take heart, I am another of those who got caught in the Hebrew Roots movement and came out of it also. One of the things that really helped to open my eyes was looking carefully at the Scriptures in the NT and what they said. From a reputable translation and not one of the HR translations, since in my case I had been using the CJB written by Stern.
Will keep your family in prayer!!
