Greetings to all. I came to this site because I was looking for information on HRM and found quite a bit. Good information and I appreciate the effort that has gone into it. Last night I read Sheep Wrecked's testimony out loud to my wife and children and we learned quite a bit. Never think that anything you have been through is a waste. God can use your experiences and the knowledge gained to help others. I don't know how much I will post. I have quite a busy day job. I will probably use this site more for research than anything else. God bless all of you as you "look unto Jesus" in your walk with Him.

I so agree with what you said about God using all our experiences to enable us to then better help others.Sheepwrecked is a prime example of this.

Thanx for sharing that, heb. I often think back to those days realizing that God does use our experiences for the good - His good, so I am more than happy to show people the deceptive practices. It seems that it's easy to get hooked into a system, rather than just trust in God, take up your cross and follow Christ, love Him above all, and just be available to serve Him where ever He leads and to whom. It does not take practices and traditions to define Him or what He expects of us - just the Bible

It would be terrific if you found time to post, but I know how busy can life can be. If the information here helps you, then that makes us happy and we thank God that He sees fit to use us!

Phi 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Thanks to all for the warm reception.

Our walk with God is one of faith and not sight. Our flesh does not like that. When we are born-again, our spiritual eyesight is not that sharp. Just like a little baby we sense the love of our Father but at such an early age we hardly know Him. We know that He loves us unconditionally and so our spiritual journey begins with the "Love of God being shed abroad in our hearts". Our journey should continue and finally end with and in the love of God. Wisdom and Knowledge we do not have. Zealous without knowledge is pretty much our experience early on. The older I get in the Lord, the more I realize how little I know and how great and wonderful He is. Keep running the race, looking unto Him, knowing that He loves you and is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.

There is no real true knowledge that is not connected to the Love of God. Our course in life should not be regulated by just knowledge but love towards God and consequently love towards man. This love is more valuable then mere intellectual attainments. Do you know what the secret ingredient is that makes the Word of God come alive? Humility and Love. Humility and Love couple with God's Word is a much safer guide than the Intellect and God's Word. I want the approbation of God?
I want Him to KNOW ME and He will know me if I love.

1Co 8:3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

Hi to all. I'm pretty new to forums, etc but heard you had some interesting yet healthy Christian discussion material on this site. I enjoy a good, respectful discussion even when I am not taking part in it. I love the Lord and I suppose would be considered pretty conservative in my views. Many years ago I was sucked into a variety of beliefs - much of it was New Age type stuff. Build to suit. Funny how post-modernism is so similar to new age. Not so funny in our churches.
