RE: Please Introduce Yourself!
[Thinking2

Hi, I found the Seek God ministry online while searching for
info online about the shepherding movement. Over the years
I have been subjected to this movement in several churches w
attended, and I discovered that these types of teachings were
alive and well, and being strongly and popularly promoted,
in vaious forms and styles. I am questioning some of the teaching
I've received and am searching for a church to attend.
It's getting a bit confusing. I think it is important, though,
because for whatever the itents and motives good and/or bad,
there are many popular movements and teaching abouding
in the church (body of Christ)today that are actually unbiblical
and in some cases, may be anti biblical. I'm trying now to
educate myself (and my family). God bless everyone, SingingSurf

Welcomeani to our group. Crowd

So glad you have joined in already and posted. Cool0012

I think many are brought to the spiritual questions of what is right and wrong in the churches, what is right and wrong about what is being taught and yes the many many programs that seem to take precedence over the teaching and studying of the Scriptures. Equipping the saints seems to be holding people at a spiritual prison of focusing or being controlled by the pastor etc instead of growing in grace and knowledge of our Savior and each becoming a soldier of Christ, with a ministry to reach others and similar.

I am glad you are seeking to align your beliefs to the Scriptures and testing and proving. I think it's the most important thing that we can do in our walk with Christ.

Look forward to many discussions with that purpose, and that we can encourage and edify one another

Shocked RE: New here
Hello, I am ralliann. I have visited this site several times in the past, and was glad someone was questioning the messianic movement, and bringing much needed facts. It has only been 8 months or so, since I considered myself messianic. I had recently found out, I did not have a clue, what the movement was about, yet considered myself messianic for several years??????? If there were more information concerning messianic, I do not know if I would have, even become involved in the congregation that I did. I am glad to be here, and be a part of the discussions. Thanks to all who keep this site going.

Welcome to the forum Rally. 14578 So glad you were able to finally get on.

I am really glad the website has been of help to you. And I am glad you found the information you needed to help you get out of the movement and back to Christ. Smiles_pinkbounce

While I do the SeekGod.ca website on my own, I have been thrilled to be able to share the care of the forum with Sheep Wrecked and Rose of Shushan and a special techy who helped set it up. I know I wouldn't have started the forum without some help and God provided. You will find their knowledge of the HR/Messianic movement and the arguments that go with it to be very helpful.

Again, welcome. Makes yourself at home and post and discuss and fellowship. I look forward to getting to know you. Coffeebath
