Greetings from SC
Hello everyone,

My name is Carol. I'm 42, married, and no kids. I'm a born again Christian and I love studying the bible, love to cook, and I love pretty shiny things. hahaha

I stumbled upon this site by accident. I was looking at Christian sites for format ideas and found this site in a list somewhere. So I read a couple of threads and you guys seem serious about your faith. I've owned several forums myself and have been on many other Christian forums and most of them have departed from the faith basically. So I've been looking for people who are solid in the faith, who love God, and follow Jesus.

I hope to get to know you guys better. I'm off to read some threads now.

Blessings,
carol

yeah, it was fun coming up with that one Biggrin It came from two different verses:

Matthew 18:12 How think you? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, does he not leave the ninety and nine, and goes into the mountains, and seeks that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, truly I say to you, he rejoices more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

1 Timothy 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck.

at one time I was definitely ship wrecked, but Jesus came and rescued me from deception through a couple of really good friends, so my nic is just a good reminder that without the Grace of God, I would have remained on the path of destruction. He is AWESOME! 47b20s0

Welcome, this is a good site! I've been here for a few months now and still have not read everything. I'm learning a lot, not least of which I need a bridle for my fingers as well as my tongue!

Phillipians 4:23 "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."
