Thanksgiving

Let's post things for which we are thankful. This is as good an occasion as any.

I want to thank Vic for running this site. I live in California, but for some reason am attracted to all things Canadian. (E.g., I go to Anaheim Ducks home games to cheer on the Canadian teams.) I can't recall how I found it, but there are all sorts of insights and explanations of which I wouldn't have been aware. All of it is backed up by Scripture, which is rare among Christian sites. The fact that this is a Canadian site encouraged me to read more. I hope to move to British Columbia and marry a Canadian man. I know God led me to this site, because He knows what will catch my eye and what I like. If I get rich I want to help sponsor this site, like Mary Magdalene did with Jesus's ministry.

Here is some of what Vic has done for me:
Prayed for my family members.
Showed me that I cannot "dabble" in occultism, which is a temptation for me.
Printed a series of letters I wrote on an occultic book touted as "Christian".
Sent me comforting Scriptures after my mother died.
Talked me out of killing myself more times than I can count.

That was my (partial) list. Add more.

I am thankful for my life my family and my friends.And that God keeps us healthy and lacking nothing.
I thank Him for being a father to me since my own hasnt been a part of my life.
I give thanks that Jesus redeemed me and that I have a personal relationship with Him.
I give thanks that God doesnt give up on us even when we do on ourselves.
I give thanks for this forum and the chance to know and dialogue with such a variety of believers.
I give thanks for the love of my life and for God having brought us together.
Theres many more but I'd be here all night

I am thankfull for all the miracles in my life(small and big)

I am thankfull that my daughters eyes are healed(she can see normally again)
