RE: rancherforchrist, aka Chris Evans & Doug Perry & FOTM
Chris Evans as rancherforchrist introduced himself as a "missionary for 4 years" and and also as being homeless.
He said Quote:I am not on anyone's payroll, I don't get paid for ministering the gospel. I haven't been on anyone's payroll since the Lord called me out. The Lord called me to a walk of faith. Sometimes the Lord gives me money and resources through sources that I don't even know. Other times the Lord has me do a little temporary contract work and earn money. I don't really have an income. Most often the Lord has me spend most of what I receive on the needs of others... Quote: (I have never drawn a salary or pay for doing the work that God called me to), God has greatly increased my faith and maturity through my total dependence on Him for all my needs. Yes, there have been times that I have even lived on the streets...I have not had a home of my own for about 4 years. I have been in so many churches and other such organizations, where people have asked where I live. When I tell them that I am homeless, many shy away from me. Kinda makes one Quote:...How is it not glorifying to God, that He could take a wicked, wretched, successful man like I was, and turn me into a man that would live on the streets, eat out of garbage cans and do whatever else for sake of Christ and His Gospel? It needs to be understood that being homeless in Chris's scenario means not owning a home and not having one permanent residence. It does not mean that Chris Evans has been destitute, without food, clothing or shelter, as some might be given to think. In fact, he has been well taken care of having lived off of or with other associates, or used funds given by others who ended up in need while supporting Chris Evans, according to eye witness accounts. He has either roomed with others or lived in motels and while he claims he is homeless repeatedly on this forum, on his own youtube roughly 3 weeks ago he said that we was residing at a place called New Beginnings. Further, as was pointed out, on Chris's own website he said he lived with a "brother in Christ". The image of the word homeless leads many to think he is in fact destitute, when that is not the case. He was in fact living with a "Darren" until recently. The Mac laptop he claims was such a gift, while being "homeless", he obtained from a older teen named Andrew, who had been given it by his grandmother for college, and somehow Chris took possession of it. He also has had the use of a vehicle, a Trooper, which he purchased with a loan from a former friend. He never repayed that money, instead declaring that God told him he didn't need to pay it back. The gentleman in question rejects Christianity because of this type of so called witness, which is not of Christ whatsoever. Romans 13:8-10 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Psa 37:21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. Luke 6:30-31 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 31. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. Vic SeekGod.ca 3John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. |
