There is no partiality with God. Chris Evans and many others need to dump the voice, the charismatic theology they have kept, the concept that they are a prophet and that is the only way they can serve or be loved by God; the concept that they have to sin and be deceived to be obedient or prove their love of God.....they need to start over and simply believe the Jesus of the Bible when He says we are saved by God's grace...and nothing of ourselves.That is something that many end up having to do, because their perception of Christ is skewed by feelings and desire for manifestations etc and grace plus gifts, grace plus elitism, etc. Each needs to believe God's Word, not some voice which has led to falsehood and sin.

1 Cor 5: 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Many are blaming God for the sin and embracement of deception in their lives, rather, justifying sin and Biblical disobedience and denial of Scripture to be a unique call of God. That is false, heretical and not of God.

Pro 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.[/b]

Jesus said we were to follow His example and He prayed we would be kept from evil. Paul wrote to no longer sin. Many are saying that and many other Scriptures do not apply to them. Manyare waiting for 'the voice' to give direction for everything, when God wants us to go by HIS WORD.

Chris Evans, Doug Perry and many like them have gone after their own lust of the flesh and desire for gnostic doctrine. They like the elitism and perceived special knowledge.

God's Word was given so we would know how to think and how to behave, and how to live for Him. It wasn't intended to tell us what sock to put on. His TRUTH is in those 66 books. His requirements for us are in those pages. Period! Those who reject His Words are in violation of His Truth. He said IF we love Him we will keep His commandments. We don't prove our love by sinning and following after false doctrine and false teachers, and overturning and denying Scripture after Scripture. And continually being deceived and then saying God did it to us, so we could show how much we love Him, as many are prone to do. That is false and contrary to God's Word.

Phil 4: 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Titus 2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine

The issue is about obedience and upholding God's Word. He does not LIE. He does not tempt us to sin, nor call us to sin in order to obey Him. Nor does He deceive us. But satan does. God did not "choose" for these people to go after sin. That was their choice, not God's to go after false doctrine. They are not obeying God. God allowed it, He did not desire anyne to be deceived and sin as a way to honor and glorify Him. If that is obeying God, provide the Scriptures please.

Is His promise, then for those who love Him, to live in sin and deception and that is an honor and glorifies Him? Are there some Scriptures for that? Hearing nothing but 'his voice' while denying and overturning Scriptures is 'sound doctrine?

Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. ...4:3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Romans 5: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

That voice that Chris Evans hears is not God. Period. He got it as a result of being deceived and believing a lie. It is shown in the "fruit" and the leading him into sin and deception, including to calling the occult TRUTH. That is not God. Chris and others in the same deception need to reject it..They are replacing the Truth of God's Word with a voice which has led them to do things in direct contradiction and disobedience to God's Word. Is God a Liar? Is His Word the Standard for Believers or not?

Ephesians 5: 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. .... 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Gal 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory,provoking one another, envying one another.

By following that voice into sin and believing God would do that, these people are willfully sinning and disobeying Biblical truth and justifying it by blaming God and saying 'he told me to.' Is that how God expects us to show our obedience to Him and His Word, by constantly disobeying it in favor of whatever whim, false doctrine, false teacher or lust of the flesh comes in our path?

1 Cor 13: 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

God calls us to a change in our lives, which reflects Christ. We're to use sound judgment and temperance, self control and such, based on the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit changes us to reflect Christ more and more. Every thought is to come into obedience eventually...that is the goal. And when we err, we are to repent and get out of the falsehood or wrong choices. Because that shows obedience to God's Word.

2 Cor 10: 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Col 3: 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

We're to prove the things acceptable to God and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness. God wants us to grow in grace and knowledge of Christ and it needs to show in our behavior and choices.

2 Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

God allows us to sin and make wrong choices, not because He wants us to do it, or He wants us to enter into a sinful situation or activity, but because we aren't listening or testing to Scripture to start with. God doesn't always stop our decisions, nor are we to wait for a fix while in the middle of something we've entered in to, and choose to remain in. He expects us to be Biblically obedient and make choices that align to Scripture, especially when we know it's wrong. God's will is that we obey HIS WORD, not overturn and reject it, believing that proves our sacrifice and love of Him!

John 14: 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments....23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

The claim to sin for God and be deceived and deny Scriptures--truly an elite and special 'calling'---is not of God! Chris Evan's own statements show the focus was on his own self, and desiring to be special, and have God show him partiality. It's not of God..

Matt 6: 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Does God override His own Biblical directives about adultery, and marriage--Mark 10:5-12 ?

If sinning for God is indeed something we are called to, it needs to be proven to the Word of God. The claim is one 'cannot refuse' the 'voice' they hear, but they do refuse Scriptural Truth and reject the Truth in God's Word as their standard, which is refusing to hear God.

Chris Evans said “god had me kill people in the spirit…”

Now Chris makes it clear he hears a voice which he claims is “god”, that is ongoing. So after his first night in our home he came into the kitchen and said he prayed and prayed but there was a demon that wouldn’t leave and asked if we ever spiritually cleaned our home.

“Yes we did” I answered, with my wife nodding in approval.

“…a demon was hissing at me all night … we need to pray…” said Chris.

“The Lord said to stay the night in this hotel…”

This “voice” told Christ that we [Chris, myself and a young woman] were to stay at a specific hotel for the Sabbath/night. I felt something was strange and out of place but Chris said to get all our bags and check in.

When we got to the front desk the clerk told us they were fully booked till next week.

Chris told me, my wife, and daughter, that June, his believing previous wife to whom he was still legally married to at that time [while we were on route to LA to get his new bride], filed for divorce against him and that he never filed for divorce against her.

Despite the obvious bigamy problems, online court documents, which are public information and accessible to anyone [btw its not illegal or slanderous to provide such information as its covered by the freedom of information act], showed Chris was the one who filed for divorce against June.

Matter of fact, Chris filled two times for divorce; one on 11/30/2007 and a second time on 3/18/2008.

Chris tells people the “voice” he listens and obeys told him he is… “the most vile man on the planet”.

Chris claims, along with Doug Perry, that this “voice” told him to lay down everything and “god” took it all [wife, family, children, job, etc] and that “god” would give them a perfect bride [through a series of brides]. [based on Mark 10:29-30]

Chris claims we are to obey this “voice” even tho it tells him and us, to do what is clearly called SIN in the Bible!

Chris Evans and Doug Perry's fruit has not shown Biblical obedience, they have overturned what is good and evil and they have shown no discernment. They are unable to recognize deception and false teachers or false teaching and in fact propagate false doctrine. They deny Scriptures apply to them, because they do not take it as their Standard. Rather the 'voice' is their source of direction. Their believing their lives are huge prophetic and spiritual enlightenment is more deception. The continual justification for sin by making it all about obedience to God to enter into sin and be deceived is Unbiblical and heretical. And not from God. And that is the bottom line.

The issues are about TRUTH. It's about whether what we believe can stand the test of Scripture. If my analysis of is not Biblically sound, then please provide the Scriptural proof of your position. That is all that is needed. Not feelings, not warm fuzzies, occult doctrine, not denying Scriptures, not any of that. Can you get good fruit from evil trees? Does God call His people to sin and deception when He says the righteous do not sin, and in Christ we are no longer to sin? If so, please show the NT Scripture.

Believing that Hearing a voice is proof of having a deeper prayer relationship with God is false. Either the voice involved is of God or it is not. By their own words every decision they have made has been at the direction of a voice. And because of that voice, many lives have been destroyed. Many marriages destroyed. Many families destroyed. And sin is held up as truth. And the claim that it has been that voice of 'God' that has been directing Chris Evans and Doug Perry to honor and glorify Almighty God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in that manner. They never make a move without the direction or input of that voice...

Romans 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Is there any Scripture that proves it all to be of God as they have claimed? That a voice giving direction to sin and be deceived is good and right and honoring God, that lies, and has them overturn and reject Scripture after Scripture....is of God?

When I started the thread on the forum concerning how are prophets/prophetesses made, it was because of the aberrant teachings of Chris Evans and Doug Perry concerning this issue. Because Chris chose not to answer, I think I will simply post the testimony of Steve who was made a prophet by them.

God's Word is clear with regard to false prophets and false teachers. THey are known by their fruit, and we are not to be involved with them.

With regard to the demon issues, are there any Scriptural precedents with Christ or the apostles, of spending day after day of dialoguing with demons? Getting to know them instead of delivering someone of them because of Christ? They lie when the truth would do! Is that also our call?

Reading the writings of Doug Perry and Chris Evans on spiritual warfare and also 'spiritual weapons', is like reading the writings of ten year old boys who have had too much time on their hands. The focus on the violence and pretending to be superheroes battling villians in their much reverenced comics and violent movies is not of Christ. Nor is attempting to summon demons to talk with and attempt to beat up. Summoning demons is called conjuring, divination, satanism and witchcraft. Something forbidden by God. And that the beliefs of those followers of these two deceivers did not or do not grasp this truth is something that needs to be dealt with. The Scriptures are our standard of Truth. Not someone's opinion, not some way of adding to the Scriptures, not believing stuff because of being in a belief system that allows for and agrees with this wrong doctrine. That means that system is a deception. Think about it people.

Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

People need to know the Scriptures.

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus laid out an example for us to follow, and that was to follow Him and do the will of the Father, and that the Standard for us is the Word of God.

Psalm 119: 9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee... 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. 16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. 17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word....101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. 102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me. 103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

I've been watching some of those YouTube videos. If your god is telling you to marry and divorce a dozen people, and telling you to kill people in the spirit (???), you are definitely not hearing from the God in the Bible. At best it's a familiar, but this stuff is so evil it sounds as though it came straight from the ancient serpent himself. John 4:22 "Ye worship ye know not what..."
