Ooops. I just found this.
I got to this WEB page through a complicated series of events, and decided to sign up. I could not find the introductory thread place, so I regrettably posted something up already. But once I came across this newbie site, I instantly got started. Sorry.
I am a Sacred Namer, part of the "Hebrew Roots" Movement. It's OK with me if most people disagree with me. What I'm after in joining is maybe a chance to provide an insider's view of how some issues play out among us. I don't think you will see a lot of arguments from me. I was intrigued by the home page. It looks like most of the administrator's concerns match mine. This leads me to believe that there is some misunderstanding about Hewbrew Roots types, or else we have that dreadful development, where fringe members of a movement have their statements blown up to fill the page as a bad example. I would hope people disagree with me based on what I really believe, and not what is imputed to me. I just checked again, and much, if not most, of the Myths you might impute to me would be quickly renounced if I was ever asked. Let's see what happens. Mighty shalom, Michael |

Hi there Michael, You must have forgotten that you corresponded with me concerning the list of sacred names for Jesus in my one article, was that 3 or 4 yrs ago. And you have been on forums such as James Trimms discussing the sacred name etc. and that list and other things. We don't actually have misunderstandings about the various movements. As I have said many times, that not all descriptors apply to all particular groups. Each leader tends to have their own pet doctrines. I have also shown by provable facts that the so called fringes of the Hebrew Roots movement have been mainstreamed into Christian and Messianic groups. As far as sacred namers, even though you are presenting your information in a polite way, so far, the reality is we have refuted it and I would prefer you post to the threads about the names, since that is your purpose for being here. http://www.seekgod.ca/forum/showthread.php?tid=73 http://www.seekgod.ca/forum/showthread.php?tid=3 http://www.seekgod.ca/forum/showthread.php?tid=252 Keep in mind, that while your tone is respectful, which I really do appreciate, spamming doctrine isn't. If you want to discuss any of the Hebrew Roots doctrines, keeping the feasts, keeping the law, etc please do go through the threads in the Messianic/Hebrew Roots section or do a search to find the appropriate threads. That would really be appreciated. ![]() That said,
Vic SeekGod.ca 3John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. |
