Keep the Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday & Rest in Christ

Be that as it may....I'm going to post one small controversial statement and see how well it goes over.

Sunday is not the Sabbath therefore all Christianity is living in unconfessed sin.

First of all, Sunday has never been, nor will it ever be the Sabbath. The Sabbath was not given to the Church/the Body of Christ, it was given to Israel. Israelites in the land of Israel still keep the sabbath today.

The born again believer is not bound to "keep the Sabbath":

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Colossians 2:14-17)

Jesus Christ IS the Sabbath (which means REST) for every born again Christian. (Hebrews 4) Jesus fulfilled the Sabbath. Christianity was never given the Sabbath....therefore to say that all Christianity is living in unconfessed sin because Sunday is not the Sabbath, is heretical.
