Hello Everyone!

I'm Hannah....I am a long time debater against Catholicism (some of you may not agree with me on this but that isn't why I'm here) on various boards. I've never heard of the Hebrew Roots Movement until a certain 'gentleman' (actually gentle isn't the word to describe him :s more like an ogre) came to our board and started bulldozing us with it. I was shocked to say the least. Although we knew at once that what he was teaching and preaching were in utter error, because none of us had ever heard of this movement, we were therefore woefully unprepared to defend ourselves against him and the things he was saying.

So thus the reason why I am here! To LEARN so that I can prepare and arm myself against this utterly devilish heresy and those who are proclaiming it. And perhaps stem it's tide from invading other shores.

Hi Hannah and welcome to the forum. I hope you are blessed and encouraged while you are here. Since you are new to the Hebrew Roots information, if you have time, take a stroll into the research section of SeekGod.ca and peruse the Paths of the One World Religion, http://www.seekgod.ca/topicpaths.htm ; as well as Hebrew Roots/Hebraic Roots/Messianic Movements > http://www.seekgod.ca/topichr.htm

That will likely give you a good headstart on the different things related to the beliefs. Or...stick to the forum--I suspect we'll cover a lot of the beliefs and arguments surrounding the various them.

I know what it means to get roughed up - I was recently on a forum of former catholics and a Heb Roots person was there stirring things up pretty badly. I left that forum, though. I said what I could, but I wasn't making much progress with him or the others. A couple of people, who said they were not Heb Roots defended it quite openly and then pulled the anti-semitic card, so I felt the left foot of fellowship :punch: and decided to make like a banana and split before it got more ugly
