Greek and Hebrew Lexicons - Who's Who

HI Rick, had not seen that information before, although I had individually researched people like Kittel, Gesenius [sp]. Just never had the time to pursue all these things. It certainly brings things down to the base level.

It's funny, I never used anything aside from the Bible until having to refute HR. Never felt it necessary because it just seemed clear, except the occassional word I would look up in a dictionary if I didn't know the word at all. It was only after getting on the net that it was suggested Strongs was what was needed, and an Interlinear. Quite frankly I have often compared Strongs, BDB,Thayer's, dictionaries, etc and studied the context in the Scriptures and refrained from using anything but the Scriptures, because I haven't felt comfortable with the definitions.

THen it's like what do you use? Because HR are spewing all the different meanings of the 'original' Greek and Hebrew and changing definitions and Scriptures, so it can be like a slippery slope.

One of the problems becomes the controversy over the author of that info...yet it appears to be well documented information. Thanks for the heads-up. It is certainly worth studying further.
