RE: What's the True Name of God?
Vic:
Sarah, the article on wikipedia--which is not known for it's accuracy unless all sources and information are confirmed incidentally--tells of the views and use of it. Including Jewish view. So if you read that, you read some of the info. The question was, where did you get the knowledge of the term tetragrammaton. Most Christians do not know that term. That's the question.

Sari83:
I didn't say wikipedia was accurate, or that I read the entire article, but just that it's top of the first page of in a google search of the YHWH. As I said, I learned the term from some of my recent inquiries, and internet research. If you're not over-analyzing, there's no reason to insist otherwise. I didn't claim to have just began my research. I've had interest in studying Hebrew, and the names of the Father and the Son for years as I've clearly stated before.

Vic:
And no Sarah, I am not over-analyzing your posts or information. Nor am I falsely accusing you. Please don't play the victim. We are going by what you post Sarah. You say you get your doctrine by your own study. Yet, you are found in agreement with and in discussion on the internet with HR groups and or messianic. So something is a contradiction there isn't it?

Sari83:
No, it is not a contradiction to say that I've arrived at my own conclusions from personal study. I'm here on this forum, does that mean I concur with everything found on this website and all the statements that are made here?

Vic:
You could not have just recently decided to research God's Name. Because you have been using madeup HR names or as some describe sacred name ideas for the ones you have been using. They are not accurate hebrew words or names. That's a problem.

Sari83:
No, I didn't say I'd just recently decided to research God's name. I did mention research that I had done recently, but not that it was the beginning of my research.

Vic:
1) Are you still currently involved in the Followers of Yah forum and/or website that now has a new forum found at messianiccommun..../followers-of-yah-forum...etc

Sari83:
No

Vic:
2) If you are no longer involved with Followers of Yah, when did you leave?

Sari83:
I guess you're referring to 10 posts in a short period from their forum a year ago as involvement.

Vic:
3) Are you still currently involved with Nazarite.net?
Sari83:
No.

Vic:
4) This is a comment from nazarite.net that you made:

Quote:Referred: from a link Favorite: Messianic Judaism
It's great to see how Yahuah is delivering his people from darkness. I'm so thankful to have been freed by the power of truth. May you be blessed for delivering such a powerful message of truth in the name of Yahuah!

Vic:
I you notice here, the favorite article: Messianic Judaism.
Do you still believe that? You said it was in the last two years you started reading the OT. And here we see you 2 years ago confirming nazarite.net as "delivering a powerful message of truth".

Sari83:
The article debunks Messianic Judaism. That was part of the truth I thought was a blessing.

Vic:
If you didn't know the names of any of the leaders I have researched in HR and yet defended them, how would you know what nazarite.net proclaims as truth without reading their information, since it promotes those leaders teachings and books and videos and you say you never heard of before coming here?

Sari83:
That is true. I'd never heard of any of those teachers because I've never read any of the books or seen any of the videos on nazarite.net.
I signed their guestbook after reading 2-3 articles on the site.

Vic:
5) If you are no longer involved in nazarite.net, when did you discontinue association?
I wasn't involved with nazarite.net.

6) Are you calling yourself a
a) nazarite or nazarene
b) ebionite
c) messianic
d) Hebrew roots proponent
e) something else, if so what?

Sari83:
Daughter of the King, Follower of the Way, Believer, Christian, etc.

Vic:
7) Do you believe you know the 'true name' of God? If so, what is it?

Sari83:
Yahuah

Vic:
8) Do you still believe that the names of God and Jesus
are prefixed with Yah,

Sari83:
It's not impossible. The Assyrians transcribed the name as Ya-u-a. Samaritans pronounce it as Yawe or Yawa. There have been 4-5 century BC texts with the vowels that show Yah prefixes.

Vic:
8b) Do You still use Yahuah and Yahuashua?
Sari83:Yes. Which I also stated before that I prefer to use their personal names, but I also feel He has allowed us to know Him in our English terms.

Vic:
9) Do you believe that Jesus was born of a virgin as the Scriptures say?

Sari83:
As I stated previously, I think it is a late 1st century addition. There were Syriac and Ethiopian Christians in the second century who'd never heard of the virgin birth. Also, I think God works within the natural realms of His creation.

Vic:
10) Do you believe that Jesus is Divine?
Sari83:
Yes.

Vic:
10a)Do you believe that Jesus is Divine, sinless, and fully God and fully man?

Sari83:Yes, but I'm having a difficult time understanding exactly what you're saying about Him being fully God and fully man. Can you give me some Scriptures?

Vic:
11) Do you believe what the Scriptures say in 1 Tim 3:16, and 1 John 5:7 and that they are a true record as given by God, or do you believe they are corrupt?

Sari83:
We don't have the original documents. The scribes are known to have "harmonized" the texts and things of that nature. I believe that truth is in the word.

Vic:
12) Do you believe the Word of God as we have it today--and since you claim to use the KJV, I will ask if it can be trusted? or do you believe it has been corrupted and things have been added to and taken away by translators or scribes?

Sari83:
I use the KJV because it's linked to Strong's Concordance. I believe we can trust God's will to be fulfilled in all things. The translation as we have it today is God's will. Is it perfect? No, I don't think so. Is the holy spirit perfect in leading us? Yes, I know so.

Vic:
13) Do you believe we have a NEW Covenant or do you believe that it is a RENEWED Covenant?

Sari83:New

Vic:
14) Do you believe that Jesus brought a New Law when He brought in the New Covenant?

Sari83: There's no more sacrifices if that's what you mean. I believe there are immutable laws that were put in place at the foundation of the earth. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Vic:
15) Do you believe that when Jesus said He fulfilled the Law and the prophets that means they were actually fufilled having been shadows and types of what He was going to do?

Sari83:Yes, but I do not agree with replacing the old system with a man-made one.

Vic:
16) Do you believe the feasts and sabbaths from the Sinai Coventant should be observed by Christians ie those under the New Covenant?

Sari83: It's not a requirement. However, I know we have a desire to celebrate, and I do not agree with replacing the old feasts with the man-made feasts of Easter and Christmas. I considered celebrating the feasts in accordance with how the early Christians had. In another discussion we talked about the Saviour's Passover. Which is historically proven to have been kept by early Christians. As some of the writings of the early church fathers reveal this as well. As of now I've concluded, as I stated in the other post, I prefer to esteem everyday alike.

Vic:
17) Do you believe Christians are generally anti-semitic?
Sari83: No.
