I really love reading the Scriptures and KJV to me is so enjoyable. I know the short time we used NIV it totally messed up all the memorization I had thru KJV and the change in verses and meaning was always an issue that nagged at me. And yes, missing verses is a real stumbler. But it does explain the various changes in doctrine that people have obtained thru such as NIV.
