Pixar is the movie studio that produced the Toy Story series, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monsters Inc, WALL-E, Up and a lot of other computer-animated blockbusters. At least some of their studio bigwigs are Believers, with families. When most celebrities and big companies do charity work they announce it to everyone in the universe, but Pixar does their alms in secret. After they flew an exec to visit the dying child with a DVD of Up (which was only in theaters at the time), the film was nominated for Best Picture and won Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards, and their subsequent theatrical release of Toy Story 3 became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, the 7th highest-grossing film of all time, and so far the only animated film to gross $1 billion, AND it was nominated for Best Picture and won Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song. If that isn't an example of rewarding openly for alms done in secret I dunno what is!

What I like is that even after the media discovered the story, Pixar clammed up about it and even kept secret the name of the exec who delivered the movie to the kid.
