Do you anything about the quality (or lack thereof) of the translation? I looked on the website but it was fairly general:

I did some research on this when it first was advertised, and for some reason I can't find it, but am wondering if it was mentioned in another thread. Because I had read who the sponsors and those behind it were. But it is evading me at this moment.

I poked around and it say it's by the the Messianic Jewish Bible Society..but when I clicked on the donate now it had another name there as well, Bibles For Israel,so whoever Bibles For Israel is they are trying to market themselves as Messianic Jewish Bible Society as well as Bibles For Israel.

I don't know,I don't trust some place that has to have 2 different names.(2 names that I know of,could be more)

I haven't been able to find any names of people that are in it (the Messianic Jewish Bible Society)..which I find kind of odd.

I do know it is/they are a nonprofit origination.

I found a name, Zev Isaacs is the founder of Bibles For Israel.

I guess Zev Isaacs solicits funds for his bible project by using people like Peter Darg of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) to make and air videos on CBN.
Darg, who's wife is missionary Christine Darg of Exploits Ministries, who coordinates events and partners with the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus.

I went to Christine Darg's site and she is charismatic, boasting of having visions and dreams from the lord and miraculous healings through her ministry. Icon_new_shocked

Seriously?? Isn't it offence to claim the Jewish flag is based on the occult? Surely they would've considered that? If it really is the case, what do you make of this, "The Star of David in the oldest surviving complete copy of the Masoretic text [isn't this what us Protestants base our OT on??], the Leningrad Codex, dated 1008." (Wikipedia)?
