READING PSALMS IN HEBREW CHANGES THE ATMOPHERE
SHALOM TO YOU ALL,
I HAVE LIVED IN ISRAEL SINCE THE 90-TIES AND HAVE LEARNED HEBREW AND BIBLICAL HEBREW READING THE BOOK OF PSALMS WITH MY ISRAELI FRIENDS. I HAVE FOUND THAT READING THE BOOK OF PSALMS OUT LOUD IN HEBREW IN YOUR HOME CHANGES THE ATMOSPHERE. I CAN RECOMMEND LEARNING HEBREW AND BIBLICAL HEBREW TO EVERYONE WHO HAS A DESIRE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT GOD. [edited by Vic---please read forum rules--newbies are not allowed to post links]. |

RE: READING PSALMS IN HEBREW CHANGES THE ATMOPHERE
Hi,
![]() As you can see I moved your thread and edited out the links and promotion. PLease take the time to read all the forum rules, and you will see that other than in this introduction, newbies are not allowed to start threads nor post links until at least 50 posts.Israeli hebrew is different than biblical hebrew, just to clarify. So knowing today's hebrew is not learning Biblical hebrew. And it certainly does not deal with the aramaic, other language loan words and certainly does not address the koine Greek of the New Testament, which is the New Covenant prophesied of in the OT and given by GOD and fulfilled in Christ. As for reading the psalms out loud in hebrew changing the atmosphere, that presents itself as some sort of talisman---either reading psalms, or in hebrew, which is entirely incorrect doctrine. One does not need to know or speak hebrew to understand and use God's Word to discern between truth and error. One merely needs to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and study God's Word---all of it. Although you say you are from Israel your ip is from the Netherlands, so I suspect if and how you respond to this reply, will show us whether you are a legit person or a spammer. Hi, I don't open any attachments from people I don't know, as per normal internet security and which most people adhere to. I am afraid anything you want to say will have to be in text form here. It's no big deal, as far as if you are a legit person. I am merely taking precautions, as I normally do. >>Thank you for contacting me and clarifying the link issue and reading the rules. I appreciate that you took the time to do so.<<< So if you are here to discuss things, feel free to discuss in the appropriate sections. Other than that, welcome to the forum.
