Rabbi Dr. David M. Hargis
is president of Messianic Bureau International and webmaster of
WWW.MESSIANIC.COM
Rabbi Hargis is 47 and has over 25 years of ministry experience as a full-time
servant/leader. He was ordained in 1973 and pastored four churches for the
Assemblies of God before resigning in 1989 to become a Messianic Rabbi. He is
the founder and Senior Rabbi of Mishkan HaMelekh (Tabernacle of the King) in
the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area of Virginia. He holds a Master of Arts in
Theology from Lael University (Kirkwood, MO) and a PhD in Biblical
Communications from International Bible College and Seminary (DeSoto, MO).
His grandmother was a Sephardic Jew from Spain and her husband, his
grandfather, was a Ukrainian Jew. He and his wife Linda have been married for
26 years and they have two grown children (ages 22 and 20) and a grandson age
two. Linda is the Administrator of Academic Services (Registrar) for Regent
University.
As an avocation, Rabbi Hargis has been working with computer technology for
16 years. Linda and David's hobby now is to fix up the new home they recently
purchased, through what they believe to be an amazing miracle in their life.
David and Linda are members of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America.
