Ed Nydle Newsflash

It has become common practice to find the source documents from websites, to be removed after the release of articles. The documentation which is used as source quotes, invariably exposes false teaching and teachers, but upon exposure it is found that the cited Url links become changed, and/or content is changed. It was a common occurrence while posting the 1999 series, To Embrace Hebrew Roots.

That is precisely what kabbalist Ed Nydle has done. Nydle is also known as "Rabbi Ed Nydle" or "Levi bar Ido", is a board member of Union Of Nazarene Yisraelite Congregations, along with Moshe Koniuchowsky of Your Arms to Israel (YATI) and Tom Mitchell.

In the article MJAA Inroads of The Hebrew Roots Fringe, Nydle's teachings concerning the following were discussed:

Taking a brief look at Ed Nydle's teachings and website, reveals a deep promotion of kabbalistic teachings, kabbalah websites, including the Chabad Lubavitch and quite frankly some of the most blatantly wicked writings this writer has read in quite some time.

From denigrating the Name of Jesus Christ to such wickedness that can hardly be related, and is found in his articles such as his two part series, "Was Satan/Helel/Venus "Married" to Yahweh? (2) ", and "Was Satan/Hillel/Asherath "Married" to Yahweh Pt 2 (3)

"Rabbi's" Ed Nydle, Koniuchowsky and others apparently believe that the answer to that question is yes. In part 2, Nydle quotes his 'brother in arms', Koniuchowsky and also Eddie Chumney and states,

"...Let me quote from a recent e-mail listing the NEW tape series from Rabbi Moshe Koniuchowsky dated Tuesday July 18, 2000: B-8-YAHWEH’S FALLEN BRIDE!...."

Nydle goes on and states, "The purpose was to show you that the idea of Ashterah/Lucifer/Hillel being Yahweh’s consort is NOT a NEW concept or teaching,...Brother Eddie Chumney also hints at this idea in his book "Who is the Bride of Christ"...." 4

Ed Nydle also wrote, which is the common theology of those within the Union, in his article, "Who is the "Abomination that makes Desolate?" By Rabbi Edward "Levi" Nydle"

"....The answer to the question who is the abomination is: Satan/Hillel/Ashtorah/Zeus/Baal-zebul/Tammuz/SHIQQUS (BAAL) SHAMEN-LORD of HEAVEN or OIL= IESOUS (Jesus)! Satan/Hillel has pulled off the greatest deception of all time. He has set himself up as the LORD of HEAVEN/..."

This writer did not include all the blasphemous statements in those articles. A review of the posted links through the internet, reveals those articles quoted from have been changed. In fact the article, "Who is the "Abomination that makes Desolate?", appears to have been completely removed, although may still be available under another writing.

It should be understood that this writer keeps source documents in case they are needed for review or for further quotes in other articles. Such is the case of these articles, which have been on the internet for several years.

For example, the now removed, "Who is the "Abomination that makes Desolate?" also included such blasphemous and errant statements as [bolding, underline as seen]:

"....we see that Satan/Hillel is called Baal-zebul and also "the Prince or Chief of the demons or false deities (elohim-gods) of the day. The title of BAAL clearly shows us that Baal-zebul is the Supreme God in the area or nation where this deity or false god is worshipped....Yahweh spoke through the prophet Dani’el and Yahshua to reveal to us (Yisrael) that Satan/Hillel/Ashterah/Zeus (Baal-zebul) would be established by the Babylonian System as the "Savior" and "Lord" of this world,...We know can know for certain who the "abomination that makes desolate" is! Yahweh plainly showed that BAAL is none other than Satan / Hillel / Ashterah / Venus. BAAL-ZEBUL is none other than the prince of demons and the "LORD of HEAVEN"; the Lord of Heaven is ZEUS; and Zeus is JUPITER. Satan / Hillel / Venus / Ashtorah is known and worshipped, even today as Zeus/Jupiter .Satan is also described as the Prince of the power of the air, the God of this world, Beezelbub, the Evil One, and the Dragon (see Revelation 12:9). We also know that according to Dani’el that the LORD of heaven is also the LORD of oil or a false Messiah sitting in the Temple of Yahweh-the SUN GOD! This false Messiah is called in Hebrew SHIQQUS SHAMEN or "the LORD of HEAVEN"...

...SHOWING HIMSELF that he is ELOHIM (or GOD/LORD), and that it would be according to the working of Satan-DECEPTIVE SIGNS and WONDERS! Rav Shaul tells us that many would believe this falsehood. Hold on tight and buckle your seat belt, as we go deeper!

The name "Jesus"- IESOUS traces to SUN GOD Worship!

...First there is NOT ONE AUTHORITATIVE SOURCE THAT GIVES THE NAME "JESUS" OR IESOUS AS THE TRUE NAME OF YAHSHUA, the Moshiach of all Yisrael.

In Bux and Shone, Worterbuch der Antike, under "Jesus" we read; "Jesus; really named Jehoshua. Iesous (Greek), Iesus (Latin) is adapted from the Greek, POSSIBLY FROM THE NAME OF THE GREEK HEALING GODDESS IESO (IASO)." Like all the authoritative sources this gives the name of Yahshua as "Jehoshua"....If the above is true, then the name of our Lord which we commonly use goes back to a long lost form of the name of a GREEK GODDESS of HEALING...There is absolutely NO resemblance between the Name -Yahshua, and the Greek substitute Iesous!...According to Greek religion, Apollo, their SUN-GOD, had a son by the name of Ascepius, the god of healing, but he was also identified with the SUN! Ascepius had some daughters, one who was named IASO or IESO, the Greek goddess of healing. Because of her grandfather and fathers identification with the SUN, she too is in the family of Sun deities! Therefore the name IESOUS (Jesus), being derived from Ieso, can be traced back to SUN GOD WORSHIP!...The abbreviated form of Iesous is Ies or I-H-S (in Greek the capital e is H). Many Dictionaries admit that I-H-S is the abbreviation for IHSOUS (Iesous). I-H-S is the MYSTERY name for Bacchus, and LATER became the initials for Iesous!...Bacchus is a well-known Sun God, and was known in the Scriptures as TAMMUZ! Tammuz (Dionysus-Osiris) was the returning SUN GOD, but was also known as the ICHTHUS or fish! The worshippers of Bacchus, alias IES (I-H-S), were made welcome in the early "Kirche" by the use of the SUN God name of IESOUS!

...I think we have presented enough evidence from sources (I have much more) that the substitute name –Iesous (Jesus) traces back to SUN WORSHIP and pagan deities such as Tammuz, etc.

Who is the abomination? Ask yourself!

The answer to the question who is the abomination is: Satan / Hillel / Ashtorah / Zeus / Baal-zebul / Tammuz / SHIQQUS (BAAL) SHAMEN - LORD of HEAVEN or OIL= IESOUS (Jesus)! Satan/Hillel has pulled off the greatest deception of all time. He/she has set him (her) self up as the LORD of HEAVEN/ the SHIQQUS SHAMEN or "LORD of OIL" alias the ANTI-MESSIAH (false Messiah) of Dani’el and sits in the Temple of Yahweh (the believer him/her self and the congregation 2 Cor.6: 14-18; 1 Cor. 6:19) disguised as Elohim, and worshipped as Elohim!...Satan/Hillel has set up the false anti-Torah Greek Messiah-Iesous. We have a false bride (the Kirche)...The TRUE MOSHIACH is NAMED YAHSHUA-the King of the JEWS, the SON of the Living Elohim-YAHWEH! He is NOT a Greek healing "god" as the kirche teaches!..."

This pattern of behavior is not new and has not gone unnoticed by many. In fact, the February, 2004 article releases concerning the Open Response to Brad Scott of Wildbranch.org, resulted in the removal of the "Paul promotion" from his speakers bio at AIM. http://aim-messianics.org/speakers.html

Since the original posting of the Brad Scott articles, which were actually posted Saturday, January 31, although they did not get indexed into my website until Monday February 2, the AIM speakers page referenced above, with all Brad's Apostle Paul show information, which mirrors information from Brad's own site, had been removed, as well as the quote referenced in those articles. That information was removed by February 3. I did save the original page with the quotes in the event it may be needed for future reference.

However, aside from that, Brad is still a speaker and listed there, as well as with Nydle and Koniuchowky's Two House organization. And the AIM organization and its website affiliates, continue to promote people espousing the name of Yahshua, a made up name, over Yeshua, despite claims of being against that teaching. They also promote, in their TNN apologetics section, for example, the kabbalist doctrine of Pardes, only it is called "Thematic Analysis" by Tony Robinson, also a speaker at AIM. Robinson, incidentally, currently promotes SANJ and views "Dr James Trimm" as a "premier scholar within the Messianic movement." That is after all the articles showing that James Trimm is not a Doctor in anything. Robinson also links directly to Trimm's Pardes teaching from his own Pardes articles.

Of Robinson and his Pardes article posted to TNNonline, John McKee, editor of TNN, states:

Tony Robinson is the owner of the website "The Restoration of Torah" (http://devoted.to/torah), a Messianic site geared toward restoring fundamental truths to the Body of Messiah. Each week, Tony sends out a highly recommended Torah study which uses thematic analysis revealing the Messiah.

TNN's John McKee wrote some time after this article was posted and in that June 2005 email, stated,

...This e-mail is to inform you that this article is no longer available for access on our website, as are all guest articles from those outside our ministry.
Recently, I wrote an article entitled "The Effect of Mysticism and Gnosticism on the Messianic Movement":

When researching this article I discovered that the PaRDeS hermeneutic is a product of Mideval Jewish mysticism, which I had not known before. I confirmed this with scholastic resources like the Encylopedia Judaica.

Pardes is also taught by Nydle, Koniuchowsky and many others. Some are allowing that kabbalist teaching, while simultaneously speaking and writing against kabbalah. And Brad Scott and other speakers promoted as AIM speakers, and listed resources, are openly teaching kabbalah. Mark Huey is the Director of Outreach Israel Ministries, and co-coordinator for AIM who writes a weekly Torah Commentary. AIM is his website.

Many are teaching that one must also utilize "PaRDes as a tool for Torah study," with the qualifier, "that this would be within normative rabbinic Judaism (and should be in ours), not necessarily just Kaballah, that is why the rule for being 40 years of age and extensively schooled in Torah was the original prerequisite for understanding Sod." and in order to understand the meaning of the Scriptures.

It needs to be understood that Pardes is an acronym for the understanding of Scriptures via kabbalistic means. It's noteworthy that an article published in the final print edition of the Jerusalem Perspective, written by David Bivin of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research (JSSR) and who is so popular within the Hebrew Roots movement, is not accepted by many within the Hebrew Roots or Messianic movements or Christians embracing these teachings, because of their not understanding or denying the source of kabbalah or Pardes:

“... students of the Kabbalah speak of Pardes ...which is an acronym derived from the initial letter of each of the four terms (p-r-d-s)....According to the late Professor Gershom Scholem, pioneer researcher in the field of Kabbalah, Moses ben Shem Tov of Leon was the first known writer to mention the acronym Pardes. He did so about 1290 in a composition called Sefer Pardes. Moses ben Shem Tov also wrote The Zohar, which became the most influential work of the Spanish Kabbalists...The Kabbalists were mystics par excellence, and they pursued vigorously Scripture's concealed meanings. They aspired to an elevated spiritual awareness by gaining access to concealed knowledge through scrutinizing each letter of the biblical text and through ecstatic ascents into heaven...Their longing for esoteric knowledge may be traced back in part to earlier Gnostic speculations. Such speculations left their imprints on the Kabbalah...The acronym Pardes belongs exclusively to the domain of the Kabbalah.”

A book published in 1984 by David Bivin (Director of the JSSR) and Roy Blizzard has formed the basis of much Hebrew Roots' doctrine. The following excerpts from Understanding The Difficult Words Of Jesus represent the JSSR viewpoint on the lack of originality of the Greek New Testament:

"...Our reasons for writing this book are not only to show that the original gospel was communicated in the Hebrew language; but to show that the entire New Testament can only be understood from a Hebrew perspective. 2.

"It cannot be overemphasised, that the key to an understanding of the New Testament is a fluent knowledge of Hebrew and an intimate acquaintance with Jewish history, culture, and Rabbinic Literature."

James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
