Rejected from a Bible Study

March 28, 2006

Hi Vicky:

Thanks for your site.

Some of the information you have on your pages has been very helpful as of late.  I went to a Bible study last week and was told I couldn't come back because I didn't want to turn my life over to Torah  (the workbooks and tapes came from FFOZ).  My claim was (and is) that Jesus, and only He, is the Truth the Life and the Way.  I'm afraid it lead to a very heated debate.  I was a bit annoyed because the person who ran the study didn't run the details of his study past our minister (your site helped my identify their statement that 'you [meaning me in this case] are not allowed to challenge what is on the tape or what the facilitator says as one which could be attributed to a cultic profile).

You have done some wonderful research on this issue.  May I take a copy of some of the articles to give to my pastor so we can point out some things to the facilitator of this study?

Thank you,

God Bless.

Randy

My Response:

Thank you for the kind encouragement. I am glad the information is of value to you. Please feel free to use any articles or parts thereof to help inform others.

... People need to realize that these things are coming into the churches. It is and always has been about Christ and obedience to the Word of God. And Yes, Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by Him. Not by works but by grace are we saved. Praise God!

Every blessing to you as you seek to stand firm in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
