Vicky Dillen's
Inquisition
Reviewing the
unsubstantiated claims of Tricia Tillin, Cross+Word Ministries, and
banner.org.uk
Update October 2005 * Tricia Tillin has changed
her website to www.intotruth.org
with corresponding changed article links quoted
in the article below > www.intotruth.org/sum_heb-old.html
and > www.intotruth.org/misc/dillen.html
For quite some time there has been two
articles posted on the internet written by Tricia Tillin on her
Cross+Word Ministries
website, which discuss my SeekGod website and myself, Vicky Dillen.
I was not led to answer these
unsubstantiated accusations in the past. However, because of recent inquiries
about those articles, and the attempts by others who I have written about to
use those same articles to validate themselves, as well as their own
unsubstantiated accusations against SeekGod, I now feel that it is the proper
time to address this.
Tricia Tillin in her article titled
Vicky Dillen's Inquistion :“The Gospel according to Dillen”, stated that “ Vicky Dillen heads up a new
inquisition designed to incriminate her fellow researchers!” She has also
stated, "Vicky
Dillen sends out a list of questions designed to trap any
ministers who do not comply with her narrow set of
beliefs."
First, let’s
examine what other researchers have said about my website, and about Vicky Dillen personally.
It should be noted that the second article on Tricia
Tillin's site revolved around the Hebrew Roots articles on my
site. The implication and some statements about them were
that I was anti-semitic and so on.
On a forum that is frequented by
Messianics, this discussion took place after some of my articles links were
posted there.

As
the author of the isitso.org "Field Guide to the Wild World of Religion"
site, I'd like to thank you for your vote of confidence in my research as
being corroborative information that deserves consideration.
Unlike the seekgod.ca author-- her name is Vicky-- I happen to be a Sabbatarian who has observed the annual Feasts of the Eternal for over 35
years. I use "Yashua" and "Yahweh" (although not exclusively), I don't
observe the "traditional Christian" holidays such as Xmas, I don't eat
unclean meats, and so on. In other words, I do NOT share the theological
perspective on many matters that Vicky has. Yet I have found her
investigative reporting to be exceptionally thorough and her factual
conclusions, in most cases, to be accurate. That does NOT mean I agree with
her *doctrinal and Biblical evaluation* of some of the issues that she
addresses on her site. But when it comes to "who said what" and other
factual matters she shares, she does her homework.
If
those in the various "movements" of the Spirit do not "police their own," then just how do we think the Eternal is going to deal with the deception and such going on? He hasn't publicly stricken people, including
false prophets, dead with lightning or plague and such in a long time.:-) He
chastised ancient Israel with the rod of the Gentile rulers. Should we be
surprised that he might use a Protestant woman in our time to confront some
of those who consider themselves His people with the error of their ways?
Or
maybe a Sabbatarian woman. I received an email earlier this year in response to the profile of
Monte Judah on my website. The person insisted to
me that Monte was "God's Anointed" (that gave me a chill! ... that is a
title that belongs ONLY in our time to the Messiah Himself!) and that I had
better cease and desist from "attacking" him-- it was "not Christlike" and
needed to stop. I do NOT "attack" Monte or anyone else on my website. I
share my sincere *concerns* about some of their statements or activities,
provide the documentation of those things that led to my concerns, and
invite others to do their own more extensive investigation into the issues
if they find that they share my concerns. (And my concerns are wide ... I
cover everyone from Ellen G White of the Adventists to William Branham of
the Pentecostal movement.)
Blinding one's eyes to facts and reality
does nothing to promote the cause of the Good News. There are men (and some
women) today who are bringing disrepute, by their actions and words, to the
truths of the scriptures and the Name of our Savior in the eyes of those whom
we wish to reach with that Good News. I do not believe that the Eternal is
pleased with them ... nor with those who support them without wisdom, just
because they are persuasive and charismatic leaders. ...
The
greatest need in the Body in our time is that of the gift of discernment. The Pope isn't going to fool any of "the Elect" into believing
that he really is the Vicar of Christ :-) But the scripture indicates that
near the End, deception is going to be so great that those very "elect" will
be in danger of being deceived. So just where is that deception going to
come from?
Judgement is NOW on the House of the Eternal. If we will not judge our own
situation, including making wise choices on those whom we will support as
leaders and spokesmen in the Body, then we will face His judgement.

Field Guide to the Wild World of Religion
Below are some comments made about me
and my website, on a major Messianic forum, by Kathryn Kern, who is Messianic,
after links to my articles were also posted there. Kathryn hosts her own Messianic
research site:
"...And yes, Vicky and I do not agree totally on doctrine, but then neither
do I agree wholly with anyone else that I have seen post here. We all have
our differences as well as our similarities. After a time, I did speak with
Vicky on the phone. I found her to be genuine. She had stated that she had
come out from mainstream Christianity, just as I had done. Where she has not
embraced a "Hebraic Roots" as I did, she is seeking truth. Now my question
for those of you on this forum, that would like to attack Vicky because of
her Christian background, making Hebraic Roots a sacred cow so to speak, if
you view her as misguided and attacking the Messianic community, just as
Shaul did to the earlier believers of the Messiah, which of you, as Ananias,
went to her to open her eyes to the truth, in love and compassion? If
Vicky's view of the Messianic community is that of Trimm, Koniuchowsky and
such, it is no wonder that she does not embrace it and feels a need to
expose truth. They, sadly do not make up the core of true believers, but
they have a very large net presence that would make it appear otherwise.
Which of you, seeing that fraud and false teaching, would be drawn to it? I
certainly was not when I first got on the net to find others that YHWH was
leading the same way. I became disgusted with forums and quickly realized
the truth of the statement that broad is the road and wide the gate that
leads to destruction and many enter it, and narrow the road and small the
gate that leads to life and only a few find it. That is a minority. Yet the
majority of the net presence is not what I would call an upright one. Do not
judge her so harshly until you can look at the Messianic community on the
net and truthfully see it for what it has become, splintered and near
impotency. Until the upright of the Messianic community stop patting each
other on the backs or protecting their own ass by their silence and
inactivity, this situation will get worse and these frauds will continue to
run rough shod over the others. People will continue to follow the wrong
path and more leave to pure Judaism, denying Messiah or fall away
altogether.
Why is it easier to attack Vicky than to attack the real enemy? If there is
a doctrinal difference and you feel strongly enough about it, then write and
have dialogue with her…
… Where some
may chose to argue points of doctrine with Vicky, I think the greater focus
needs to be examining the beliefs of those that are defrauding the Messianic
community. Vicky is not the enemy here. I received an email from a man that
has started a nazarene fraud victims forum. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nazarene_fraud_victims/messages/
There are more
out there than you might think. I have received numerous emails from
individuals and couples, seeking a voice and compensation. The fact that
there is such a site shows that these incidents are not isolated. If people
would stop turning a blind eye to these situations and act, something could
be done. ..."
Kathryn http://www.lebtahor.com/truth/trimm/jamestrimm.htm
In her other article,
The Hebrew Roots Summary page: "has been replaced with this response
to the lies and distortions of Vicky Dillen", and within that article,
Tricia Tillin stated:
"... The only people who
"benefit" from what Dillen is saying are the enemies of truth! If Dillen
and her group hope to persuade us that they are on the side of truth, they
should stop providing the enemy with ammunition!"
http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
I find the above quote
by Tricia Tillin to be rather ironic,
as currently there are two
Hebrew Roots "leaders" that I have written about that are attempting
to use Tricia Tillin's
articles as a means of validating themselves while trying to discredit 'Vicky
Dillen' and the SeekGod.ca website. They are James Trimm and Michael Rood, who
have been written about extensively on this website.
Below
are e-mails sent to various Messianic lists by James Trimm and a person who
was asked to post links to Tricia Tillin’s article about me, on behalf of
Michael Rood. James Trimm also has an article about me posted on his website
that links to Tricia Tillin's articles.

[Head
Moderator]:
I have heard from a
brother in the L-rd concerning the accusations on the seekgod site.
The person who
contacted me is in the Michael Rood camp and involved in his work. They
think it only fair as they discuss more information concerning a formal
rebuttal that I post a link in contrast to those ministries that Vicky and
Camp have made a habit of attacking including Arnold Fructenbaum!!! I am
more than happy to respond. BTW, Michael, because of his past with the Way
Int. teaches NO WAY doctrines of any kind nor seeks to subvert the teachings
of Messiah Y'Shua. I have been asked to please post this site while the
talk of a formal response is being discussed. Please see this URL since
Vicky has posted against others (with slander and mis-information).
www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
There will be more coming from Michael and associates:
MIchael Rood's words
are: "Michael has told me that what he teaches
now is definitely influenced by The Way, in that he
currently teaches against pretty much everything they
stood for. "

Michael Rood has
moved to Israel, and I heard from them about this post below and they
thanked me ... they also asked me to post a rebuttal link (site) unitl they
decide how they will formally rebutt the Dillen www.seekgod.ca site..
Which is also famous for making mince meat of all AOG's as ("agents of
demons") and attacks both Fructenbaum and Dave Hunt as well!! Wow , this
camp wasts no time.. Now one of the discernment links they use as another
cult watch group is transforming their site into a rebuttal site to the
"Lies of Vicky Dillen".. Boy this is big...and hearing from Israel all in
one day-yesterday! I refuse to be a part of her Lashon hara. I have
stayed with the Hargis Family near CBN, and what they say about Linda is all
mis- informational lies, and cut up materials from not being acquainted with
those she chooses to point her finger at.. Wow, she even speaks of Weiss (
I know who he is)-wonderful messianic man and strong believer from MJAAC's
Pen. University as well as Paul Wilbur and many others.. oyyyy.... One
thread is eating so much of her mis information up!! It is outrageous and
untrue and awful to watch people practive becoming more and more adept at
tearing the body of messiah apart! -- Therefore, the TV producer for
Michael mailed me and thanked me for how I was handling the issues.. This
was a surprise..! :-) "
It should be noted, that
Michael Rood
did not issue a “formal rebuttal” as stated in
the above e-mail, therefore, the strength of his 'defense'
rested solely on Tricia Tillin’s article. After the first of
the above e-mails was posted on August 4, 2003,
James Trimm
must have viewed this as a good defense, because two days
later he then posted an email, with Tricia Tillin's link to
his many forums, as well as other forums. It can still be
viewed on his website under the title "Response to Slander".
Below are some excepts from this email.

Subject: Attacks on Messianic Leaders
All,
Recently myself and other prominent Messianic Leaders have come under
attack. These attacks have taken the form of lies, slander and Lashon HaRa.
These attacks originate from two vicious women who spend most of their time
attacking the leaders of Messianic Judaism. Other fine men who have been
targeted and attacked by these two women are: David Hargis; Avi ben
Mordechai; Michael Rood; Moshe Konicowski; Michael Boaz (FFOZ); Michael
Detwiler and Ralph Messer. And the "witch hunt" list just keeps expanding.
(I do not always agree with everything these men teach, but they are fine
men, undeserving of such slanderous attacks)…
…The second of these women is Vickie Dillen. Vickie Dillen is an enemy of
the Hebraic Roots Movement in general. Ms. Dillen has a reputation for lying
and slandering other ministries with which she disagrees. In fact another
anti-Hebraic-Roots Christian "Discernment" ministry hosts the "lies and
distortions of Vicky Dillen" Website at:
http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html Vickie Dillen even misquotes the
Talmud out of context in an effort to "prove" that the Talmud advocates the
sodomizing of young Children (just as does the book which Kathryn Kern
insisted was not really anti-Semitic). Vickie has also launched attacks
against: David Hargis; Avi ben Mordechai; Michael Rood and Moshe Konicowski.
Unfortunately, we live in a world in which a person of good reputation can
be attacked by persons of ill repute, who have established a reputation for
slander and lies, and people will actually take these attacks seriously.
Moreover anti-missionaries, persons who disagree with my textual-origins
theories and others opposing various of my teaching have found opportunity
in repeating the personal attacks and slander from these unscrupulous
persons and joining in chorus with them in order to promote their own
agendas. These persons would rather resort to personal attacks than
seriously debate the apologetic, textual or theological issues on their own
merits.
Answering these false accusers is like fighting the pagan mythical hydra.
For every head one cuts off three more appear. For every false accusation we
answer and dispel these slanderers invent several more. "
After the above e-mail was posted, Steven
Avery, who is a Jewish believer who hosts one of the largest Messianic Jewish
forums on the internet, as well as numerous Messianic chat rooms, issued an
evaluation paper on James Trimm and his organization, that was circulated and
is currently posted on a Messianic research site. In his evaluation paper,
Steven
cited eleven of my articles as supporting information for his paper. He has in
fact, while in disagreement with some of my beliefs and research, stated,
"...while we communicate with Vicky, and sometimes offer (usually small)
corrections,...we appreciate and respect her generally excellent research and
her willingness to speak clearly, without letting the spiritual disasters
(e.g. Trimm, YATI) intimidate her."
Testing Tricia Tillin's Allegations With Facts
Now let's look at some of Tricia
Tillin's unsubstantiated 'facts'. Starting with an article which included
reference to myself, when in fact, I had nothing whatsoever to do with the
article being discussed. It seems appropriate to address it, as
I was thrown into the rest of the article by Mrs. Tillin.
This article was Tricia's response to an article called
'The Conspiracy Was Strong.'
"The
Conspiracy was ---
well, er - Nonexistent!"
It's difficult enough to survive in this minefield that is the
Church, with the guilt of not submitting to abusive authorities, with the
pain of losing friends, with the confusion of not knowing exactly who to
trust anymore, and with terrible pressures on all sides to accept
deception from Toronto et al, without having to deal with suspicions
about the very people whom God has sent to HELP you!! May God forgive
her for this. http://www.banner.org.uk/misc/Aho.html
Actually, there is NO pull to be involved
in the deceptions of the so called 'revival', Toronto, Pensacola and so on,
for those who believe the Scriptures about not going after 'other Christs'.
The Holy Spirit indwells those who believe Christ as Savior and Lord.
[Romans 8, 1 Cor 3:16, 6:19] One doesn't need to globe trot in search of signs
and wonders and seek after 'movements of the spirit' in order to 'become
more spiritual'. We're to study to show ourselves approved and walk by
faith. Many ministries, including those related to this
discussion, are saying these are the 'last days', and in fact, before the
emergence of the anti-christ, there will be a great falling away not a
revival, according to the Scriptures.
Below are quotes from
Tricia's articles, with her statements LIE referring to
quotes from either my or Barbara Aho's articles, with the "TRUTH" being her response.
"...."LIE: "Mr. [Andy] Gould's article and other
anti-Hebrew Roots material were removed some time ago from the websites of
various discernment ministries {ie. CROSS+WORD] subsequent to a threat of
litigation from [Peter Michas of] Messengers of Messiah Ministries"
TRUTH: Did Peter Michas ever
threaten me or insist I remove any material off my site? NO. I don't know
Peter Michas and have never published anything for or against him. When
the Aho's launched their attack upon him last year, twisting his words, I
sympathised with him by e-mail and received a kind letter by return. End
of story. My Hebraic Roots section, and New World Order sections of my
site, which were rarely visited, were cleaned up during a routine
reorganisation which was nothing whatever to do with Michas or Aho.
On the other hand, it was WATCH UNTO PRAYER, (Aho's site) Vicky
Dillen, Barbara Aho herself and others whom Michas threatened to sue,
because they libelled him, (as well as Andy, me, Yacov Prasch and a whole
load of other people!)" http://www.banner.org.uk/misc/Aho.html
The material that was
initially linked to and referenced to from my website, was removed from Tricia Tillin's webpage and replaced
with her heading and article "Not What you Expected?" An Explanation," which
was first posted in 2000 if I recall. It is the article James Trimm and
Michael Rood have attempted to use in particular.
"Not What you Expected?" An
Explanation"
"HEBRAIC
ROOTS SUMMARY PAGE
has been replaced with this response
to the lies and distortions of Vicky Dillen
(For the original, click
here)
Please read
the following:
"You have probably come
here after clicking a link in an article on the site "Seek God" by Vicky
Dillen. Good! I am glad to see you as this gives me an opportunity to
explain, and to show you that the things Dillen claims about me are not
only false, but are part of an ongoing campaign to discredit discernment
ministries.
Vicky Dillen and her little group
of agitators on the Net have inexplicably set themselves against
ministries ...."
And
"...I
did NOT "apologise" to Peter Michas for anything! Why would I? I
neither know nor support the man, and have none of his material on my
site. He was not mentioned in my articles, nor was there ever ANY issue
requiring me to "apologise" to Peter Michas or other HRM people and my
ministry or website. This is a cruel invention out of their own minds.
I did NOT "remove" the articles as a result of the laughable Aho
document! They think too much of themselves if they believe I would
rearrange my website to suit them. Nor was I somehow ashamed or afraid of
the subject. Why would I be? I commissioned and encouraged their
production in the first place!!!" end quote
It does sound rather planned and deliberate, and
by her own statement, ""You
have probably come here after clicking a link in an article on the site
"Seek God" by Vicky Dillen. Good! ",
because the original articles showed the actual HR articles that had been
posted on the banner.org site, and which were originally linked to for
resource information from my series "To
Embrace Hebrew Roots" and subsequent articles. Those source
articles were removed and replaced with the above statement and article --- which I have discovered to
be a very common practice.
Further. To clarify the incorrect
accusations. The "To Embrace
Hebrew Roots" articles were written by myself, Vicky Dillen, in 1999.
They were sent out on various mailing lists, such as Barb Aho's, because
they chose to do that. I had no mailing list, despite the many statements by
those involved, to the contrary. Their individual writings about HR were initiated by
my series in 1999. There was no libel involved within my articles, and all
the information used was well documented. There was
however much in the way of reactionary threats, slander and fabricated
information concerning myself and those who chose to agree with the
information.
When I started researching, I knew nothing of the
Hebrew Roots movement, other than I
had been sent Jacob Prasch's material and Peter Michas' material, by
people who wanted me to partake. By the posting of part 4 of my
research, Peter Michas and others were making all manner of false
accusations, including saying Tricia Tillin and Ed Tarkowski and others
were all connected with me. Tricia Tillin, when I linked to her original HR section
mentioned above, which had
her, Andrew Gould's, and Jacob Prasch's HR writings, pulled the section and
replaced it with the current document which accuses me of wrong doing. Since then,
her HR section has been revamped with different articles than the ones I
initially sourced. This also appears to be a common practice.
Tricia Tillin's letter to Peter Michas was
circulated by him. She apparently did not intend it to be public, but it was. I have a
copy,
which was forwarded to me. She made it clear
she was not associated with any of those Mr. Michas had threatened to sue,
which did include Tricia Tillin and Ed Tarkowski, and she was not in
agreement with my articles. She obviously did not know
who authored what articles and still errs in that
understanding of that today, simply based on the
articles on her website.
Tricia goes on in "Not What you Expected?"
An Explanation" and states:
"...
all these ministries have been in the forefront of exposing the False
Revival, the New World Order, the Latter-Rain teachings, the New-Age and
things like Ecumenism that threaten our lives as believers!
Many of them [including myself] have also
done work exposing the heretical teachings of the Hebraic Roots Movements.
Despite this, we are branded as conspirators and deceivers!
This makes me wonder if the hidden
aim in unworthy and unfounded attacks such as those launched by Dillen and
Aho is to discredit and remove the warnings of the watchmen as they labour
to sound the alarm to the Church! " http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
It's difficult to expose the ecumenical
movement if one is involved in groups, organizations or churches that are
part of it. It's also difficult to expose issues if certain aspects are
ignored because of that involvement. Therefore, unless a person can
recognize they are involved, even in part, in deceptions, they are not using
full discernment. People seem to acquire a need for a reputation or to be
known as 'somebody,' or being a 'ministry' or
'watchman'. As far as people claiming to be anything, we
are not to glory in anyone but the Lord.
2 Corinthians 10:17 But
he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 18 For not he
that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord
commendeth.
1 Cor 3:20 And again,
The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are
vain.
21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are
yours;
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye
one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is
nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man prove
his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself
alone, and not in another.
Tricia continues in the presentation
of her unsubstantiated
'facts'.
IS WHAT VICKY DILLEN SAYS TRUSTWORTHY AND TRUE?
Before telling you some more facts about Vicky Dillen and her group, let
me briefly highlight the errors of her recent articles. I was forced to
address her former work, with Barbara Aho, in my statement "The Conspiracy
was - well, er, Non-Existent!" [hotlink removed] from >
http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
And from the referred source:
"...LIE: "As
I have interacted with these ministries, I have pondered many "worrying
connections" within their own ranks. Having confronted those whom I knew
personally, but to no avail, I believe that the Christians who follow them
have a right to the following information."
TRUTH: Neither Barbara Aho nor Vicky Dillen nor any of her
associates have contacted me about these matters, not even once. They make
their allegations in complete absence of contact with me, and without
checking out with me whether there is any basis for truth in what they
have said..." http://www.banner.org.uk/misc/Aho.html
What Barb Aho had and has on her website
is her business. What I have on mine is my business. I had nothing to do
with the article written by Mrs. Aho, titled The Conspiracy was Strong,
which Tricia references above. Therefore,
Mrs. Tillin should have contacted me to ask me if I was a co-writer or
involved with that article. If she has issues with articles authored by Barb Aho or on her site, she can contact her or address her -- singularly. If
Tricia Tillin wishes to make comment regarding the articles on the
SeekGod.ca website written by myself, Vicky Dillen -- then she is welcome to
correct her inaccuracies concerning them or make accurate statements
concerning what I have written. I do not work with Mrs. Aho. I do my
research and write my articles. This site is owned by myself and my husband. I am not a "group."
I've had many emails from people who have politely shared their thoughts and
concerns about particular articles. They did not need to say I was from the pit of hell or the spawn of satan,
was a spy, a member of some 'secret research organization', an 'agitator,'
in order to say they didn't
agree with some aspect of an article.
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
I write about the ecumenical movement and spirituality necessary to
accept anti-christ. It involves the attempt to join the Body of Christ
with ungodliness. It involves all religions. That includes charismatics,
pentecostals, messianics, hebrew roots, catholics, evangelicals, mormons,
new age, etc. Like it or not. No particular 'group' or individual is without error,
despite what many would advocate, and all must be tested to the
Scriptures. The issue is about Biblical obedience
and focus on the person of Christ.
The Scriptures are
clear:
James 2:1 My brethren,
have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of
glory, with respect of persons.
1 Thess. 5:21 Prove all
things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all
appearance of evil.
Tricia also stated:
"Discernment
ministries have no desire to waste their time fighting battles with Dillen
and Aho. I consider them foolish and misguided and I hope that in time
sense will prevail. They may intend to discredit us, but we wish them no
harm. We are content to allow them to pursue the kinds of subjects they
enjoy, so long as they leave us alone to do God's work in the way we see
best." http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
I certainly do not need permission from
Tricia Tillin regarding what I research, write about, or post to my website.
I don't violate her copyright, and expect that issue to be respected with
regard to my site. Which means, posting my Survey, which Tricia Tillin calls, Vicky
Dillen's Inquisition, to the Cross + Word / banner.org.uk site is in
violation of my copyright, as is the use of some of my
Taking the Mark
material, used in Tricia Tillin's article, Doctrine of Demons, part 1. An
oversight I am sure. The Mark series, which is fully documented, was posted
late June, and the first part of July a few years ago
while Mrs. Tillin
posted in mid August. Fair use of copyrighted material allows for the quoting
of material----showing source and author. I find the lack of proper
footnoting and showing source to be rather ironic, given
Tricia's copyright which states in part, "
IMPORTANT COPYRIGHT INFORMATION:

It is not my intention to hinder anyone who has a
LEGITIMATE use for this material. Indeed, this material
is so important that I want it to reach everyone who

However, this article and all it contains is
copyrighted materialand therefore you are NOT to
assume that you may freely use it on your web
site or reprint it in your magazine, or whatever, in
disregard of my provisos written here...." http://www.banner.org.uk/res/theglory.html
To address Tricia Tillin's article, The
Gospel According to Dillen or in short, Vicky Dillen's Inquisition, which
was posted initially mid August, 2000 and updated in 2004, I'll start here.
Vicky Dillen's
INQUISITION
The Gospel According To Dillen
Vicky Dillen heads up a new Inquision
designed to incriminate her fellow researchers!
This
paper has been sent by Vicky Dillen to a number of ministers, requiring
them to submit their beliefs to her scrutiny. She does this in the name of
"openness". However, in sending her paper she offered no details of
herself, her ministry or beliefs, nor the reason for the questions.
Not
only are the questions about non-essentials such as bible translations and
tongues, but she intends to place all the replies on her website in a
comparison chart. That way, she believes, the public will be able to mark
out anyone who is "charismatic", anyone not Pre-Trib or KJV only, and
anyone who has at any time been involved in a questionable
activity. (Clearly, forgiveness does not figure too high in Dillen's
creed.)
In
other words, this is a bigotted inquisition, and those of a different
denomination to Vicky Dillen will be publicly branded as suspicious and
untrustworthy as ministers." http://www.banner.org.uk/misc/dillen.html
Tricia then posted my survey, which had
been sent initially by email to over 60 ministries and individuals and which
is actually posted on my website and copyrighted. I see no hotlink back to
my article which is a requirement when posting my articles.

In the
article "Not
What you Expected?" An Explanation",
which is basically in
her words, "response to the lies and distortions of Vicky Dillen" , Tricia
Tillin adds
these thoughts:
[hotlinks removed]
HOW DO THEY
INCRIMINATE CHRISTIANS?
In order to make a
division between those who fit into the Dillen creed and those who do not,
Vicky Dillen recently sent out a questionnaire to a
large number of well-known ministries. This list of forty-one questions
was slanted against anyone who did not comply with her own beliefs.
Anyone who does not
answer positively to all her probing questions will be exposed on her
website as a suspicious character. Refusing to respond to Dillen will
be a confirmation that the person involved is hiding something and
therefore is not to be trusted!
Yet (as you can see
HERE) Dillen's
questions concern subjects that are not fundamental tenets of the faith,
but non-essentials. While these things are important, they are NOT a cause
for breaking fellowship with other truly born-again people!
A New Inquisition
As most of you know,
the Catholic System of centuries past believed itself so very right and
infallible on every point that it refused to accept that there might be
any who deviated from its teaching.
Convinced of their
own correctness, the Catholics eventually set up trials and inquisitions
for anyone who dared to disagree. They ended up torturing, burning and
condemning to hell genuine believers whose only crime was to deviate from
the Catholic belief-system!
But is that so very
far from the present attitude of Vicky Dillen, Barbara Aho and others who
insist that their beliefs on the rapture, bible translations, tongues,
once-saved-always-saved are so superior and infallible that they dare to
set up a public inquisition for other ministers on the Net?
The only result of Dillen's questionnaire will be
division, and bad feeling, and suspicions arising about the fitness of men
and women to conduct their ministries. Is this the work of the Lord that we know and worship?
But this is the
hallmark of Dillen's work - suspicion being raised without sufficient
cause, attacks being launched by e-mail and website articles against
anyone she disagrees with, all to the detriment of the Body as a whole and
to the work of discernment ministries in particular." http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
What Tricia Tillin called 'an inquisition'
was a Survey which was later posted on my website with an accompanying
article. Emails were circulated saying that I wasn't as sincere as I sounded
and warning people that I was deceiving them. That's when Tricia Tillin
posted her Vicky Dillen's Inquisition diatribe. At the time, many people had
already answered the Survey, and most thought it great and were looking
forward to the results. That is, until some of Tricia Tillin's associates
received the fabricated warnings about my being insincere and it being
likened to the Inquisition. She has never spoken with or corresponded with me. Therefore she does
not know how sincere or insincere I am, but apparently it's unusual to find
people can actually be sincere and real in what they say and believe.
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
I still have people read that Survey--even
from her site, look me up, and send in their results, asking what I think.
They are neither offended or feeling put upon, although one former RC priest
laughed and said he felt like he was on the rack with a few of the
questions. One pastor that filled out the survey commented that it was a
great tool for judging authenticity of Christian beliefs. Even when I get
the surveys submitted, (the latest being in October 2004) I simply tell
people it was not about my judgment. It was simply as was stated very
clearly in the initial letter.
Few actually thought the Survey to be
damning. Click here
for a few of the comments. Tricia then imagined all manner of accusations
and concepts about who I worked/work with and so on. From that same article:
"WHO ARE THESE
TROUBLEMAKERS?
Vicky Dillen does
not work alone. She is one member of a secetive "research group" dedicated
to destroying ministries that they disagree with. While claiming to have
uncovered "a conspiracy" that in reality does not exist, they themselves
are the true undercover agents and agitators, using pretense, spies and
underhanded methods to do their destructive work.
It has been proven
that at least one of their members works for or with the FBI - and it only
takes a moment or two's reflection to understand how desperately the FBI
and other government agencies would work to infiltrate bona fide Christian
groups! They must have thought they had the coup of the century when they
found a bunch of deluded but eager women to do their work for them.
Instead of having to use secular agencies to undermine discernment
ministries (now the only thing standing between Christians and the New
World Order) the FBI could now use these women as a front, to plant doubt,
fear and suspicion, all in the name of "research"!"
http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
First of all I am Canadian, not American,
which most likely would exclude me working with any federal agencies housed
in the United States, which I can assure readers I do not do anyway. I work
alone, incidentally, most of the time, although I do on occasion accept
information from people I deem as credible, after researching them and the
information they provide is validated by myself. It is my choice to work
alone. I supply and share research with all sorts of people. I strive to be
accurate, and if something is found to be errant, it is corrected. SeekGod.ca is our family website. We are not an organization and that means
it's my husband and me, and he doesn't do any of the research or writing. Despite
the undocumented and unfounded accusations of Tricia Tillin.
I am still looking for
credible documentation for all of her accusations. The
basic rules of journalism dictate that if you cannot
validate your premise, then it is not fact, and it
should not be presented as fact. If we apply the rules
of evidence, unsubstantiated
information is commonly referred to as "hearsay" or "conjecture",
and is considered inadmissible as fact.
Proverbs 12:17-22
17 He that speaketh truth showeth forth
righteousness: but a false witness deceit. 18 There is that speaketh like
the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. 19 The lip
of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a
moment.
20 Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the
counsellors of peace is joy. 21 There shall no evil happen to the just:
but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. 22 Lying lips are
abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
I have all manner of people utilizing my
information. Including people associated with universities. Are they also
deluded, when looking into the articles and all the provable and footnoted
documentation?
Tricia
stated:
"Instead
of having to use secular agencies to undermine discernment ministries (now
the only thing standing between Christians and the New World Order) the
FBI could now use these women as a front, to plant doubt, fear and
suspicion, all in the name of "research"!
http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
I must admit that the above statement is
almost too absurd to answer but I will. First of all, Tricia Tillin has
provided absolutely no substantiation for her loose and unfounded
allegations. As stated, I work alone. If those claiming to be a 'discernment ministry' are
"the only thing standing between Christians
and the New World Order",
is there some Scripture to validate that? Further, God is our shield and
sword.
Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his
feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy
shield and buckler.
Psalm 119:114 Thou art my
hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Psalm 144:1 A Psalm of David. Blessed be
the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to
fight: 2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my
shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
Tricia continues her unsubstantiated and
undocumented claims with:
At the heart of this
group is Lin Sellers who uses the name Jamma and is behind the website
Rapture Watch. Although seldom seen to make any public statement, it is
her research that fuels much of this lunacy. One project under her belt is
an attempt to destroy the ministry of Berit Kjos, one of the leading
opponents of the New Age and the NWO. She set in motion such a subtle
campaign to blacken Berit's name and ministry that it was only by the gace
of God that Berit Kjos survived.
A number of sites have
fallen for her paranoid ravings, including Barbara Aho (Watch Unto
Prayer), Wendy Howard and Wendy Beutser (Despatch Magazine), Steve Van
Nattan (Balaam's Ass), Tom Lamb (Radical Pilgrim), an anonymous
Montana-based conspiracy nut ("Watcher" website), George and Rita Williams
(Cephas Ministry) and a number of right-wing patriot sites such as "Youth
Of America".
Dillen also has a
band of deluded followers, including Dana Hoard and Sally Germer, and a
number of undercover agents who infiltrate mailing lists, bulletin boards
and personal correspondences in order to obtain incriminating material.
(Matt 22:34-36)
For among my
people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares;
they set a trap, they catch men. (Jer 5:26)
Every day they
wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather
themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they
wait for my soul. Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast
down the people, O God. (Ps 56:5) http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
I would ask once again for the proof for
the above unsubstantiated accusations. Lin Sellers contacted me by email
over 5 years ago, because of something I had written in an email which got
circulated, and we corresponded for a few weeks and shared some information.
I had never heard of her prior to that, nor have I heard from her since. It
was shortly after that, I believe, she discontinued researching. I haven't
heard from her since then, and that was long before the Hebrew Roots and
subsequent articles were written. I email with many people. Some have sent
me information, or request information and we correspond for a short time.
It's literally ships passing in the night.
Of all the people, that
is, people brought to Christ, people encouraged to look to
Him and the Word of God as their standard of Truth, all
the people pulled from snares, from the occult, from the
kabbalah, encouraged to stand firm and test all to the
Word of God rather than follow after men and false
prophets and wolves in sheep's clothing, are these people
all deluded, because they found and used my website
information or asked for help from me?
Are we to assume, by
drawing conclusions based on Tricia Tillin's
unsubstantiated claims, which she calls 'the facts', that anyone and everyone
who appreciates or utilizes the information from the SeekGod.ca website is
"deluded", part of my "secret research group" or are in fact, "undercover
agents and agitators "?
Does that also include
the presentation or acceptance of
God’s Simple Plan of Salvation,
a link for which is posted on every article on my site?
It's a brief summation about the Gospel for those who do
not know anything about Christ, that He died on the cross
for our sins, that we are all sinners and lost without
Jesus Christ, and that He rose from the grave and sits at
the right hand of the Father. That if we believe Christ
and who He is and what He did for us, we are saved by
grace. Maybe that's offensive to some Christians?
Regardless of that, all the people who use my website
information and documentation, whether they agree fully
with my beliefs or I agree with them, who, if going by
Tricia's statements, would also be deluded, part of my "secret research group" or are in fact, "undercover
agents and agitators",
would include people such as:
Newspaper and
radio reporters (from New York and
Texas, particularly, and others)
Representatives of higher education,
universities, including some professors, etc.
Secular Jews
Messianics and
Messianic Jews, including Moishe Rosen,
founder of Jews For Jesus
Numerous pastors and lay people of all
denominations, who may or may not agree with all my conclusions but, find the
information solid and documented. Unlimited number of Christians
Steven Avery, Messianic Jewish believer
who hosts one of the largest internet forums, and
numerous chat rooms. Steven makes no bones about being in disagreement in
some areas of theology, however, he commends and recommends my "To Embrace
Hebrew Roots" series as well as related articles about various "leaders"
in the movement. He promoted 11 of my articles in his Steven Avery Paper
which was an expose of one particular Hebrew Roots leader.
It appears obvious that according to high levels of deception that are now
being exposed by many within the Messianic movement, that my initial
research and evaluations from 1998, 1999, 2000 and the most recent postings
in 2003 and 2004, were in fact, truthful, accurate and the documentation
stands. The research I have done on the Messianic movement are really not
much different in problems and errors that appear under the guise of
Christianity. One person wrote recently, "I still remember how heartsick I
felt over leaving the Messianic movement. I have never heard anyone else
make the connection before between them and the so-called revival. I was
grieved also because of their acceptance of word-faith teaching."
1 Timothy 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to
judgment; and some men they follow after. 25 Likewise also the good
works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise
cannot be hid.
Tricia continued her 'facts' and analysis
with this information.
WHY ARE THEY
DOING THIS?
If Dillen and Co.
have their way, all the discernment ministries that are now opposing
deception, false teaching and apostasy will be discredited and removed.
Who would most benefit from that?
Most of you are
aware that there is an antichrist agenda to bring in a false "kingdom" to
rule over the earth and to ensnare every man women and child on earth in
their net. It is therefore our URGENT task to sound the alarm and to
rescue those who are in danger.
But our accusers
prefer to while away their time on earth "researching" fellow-believers,
and imagining conspiracies from the cloning of the Dolly the sheep, to a
picture of a dove in a stained glass church window. Truly, they strain at
gnats but swallow a camel! (Matt 23:24).
WHO BENEFITS?
I have received
e-mails applauding what Aho and Dillen have done, and cursing me for my
work exposing deception, saying that I am now receiving God's judgement
for coming against Toronto. These e-mails come from supporters of the
false revival. The writers have no problem condoning underhanded and
secretive investigations, and lying insinuations, so long as it removes
the thorn of discernment ministries from their sides! Dillen and Aho
are doing them a favour, so they say!
Isn't it
interesting that the ONLY people who applaud and rejoice in the Dillen/Aho
attacks on discernment ministries are hateful, cursing, revival fanatics?
And that the people who put such materials on their websites are white
supremacist, right-wing patriots or conspiracy cranks who believe in
little green men from Mars?
The only people who
"benefit" from what Dillen is saying are the enemies of truth! If Dillen
and her group hope to persuade us that they are on the side of truth, they
should stop providing the enemy with ammunition!" http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
I research and write about the ecumenical movement and spirituality necessary to
accept anti-christ. It involves the attempt to join the Body of Christ
with ungodliness. It involves all religions. That includes charismatics,
pentecostals, messianics, hebrew roots, catholic, evangelicals, mormons,
new age, etc. I choose to share that information as a service to
brothers and sisters in Christ and as a way to share
Biblical Truth and Christ. No particular group is without error,
despite what many would advocate. The issue is about Biblical obedience
and focus on the person of Christ. It's about being a Berean and testing
all things to the Word of God, our standard. And that includes testing and proving those claiming to be
leadership, a
'discernment' ministry' or 'watchmen.' True 'watchmen' would agree with
that. All who belong to Christ are called to
exercise discernment, study and prove all things and discern between good
and evil. It is about growth and obedience. That is not put on a special or
elite group of people.
Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth
milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But
strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by
reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Who benefits from my articles? Are they as
Tricia Tillin describes, only the "enemies
of truth"
using my material? Once
again, unfounded accusations by Tricia Tillin. The
SeekGod material is linked to and used by many
conservative Christian web sites, some Messianic sites
and individuals, none of which are discussed in the
various articles, and they have been posted on many
Christian and Messianic discussion forums. I don't get
to choose who links to me, but for the most part, it
appears to be acceptable in that the articles stand as
valid and documented research. I have at times requested
my material or links be removed from sites. As
stated in the beginning of this article, the ones
attempting to use Tricia Tillin's articles to discredit
me, are those who I have written about and exposed their
deceptions, while they have used the unfounded
accusations in her articles as a default attempt to
validate themselves while attempting to discredit my
documented and provable research. These are the true
facts of the matter.
Again, Tricia continues
in her article, with no presentation
of any
facts, and I must presume there is confusion by Mrs. Tillin about who has
what on their websites, and about whom. Regardless. We are to prove all
things, try the spirits and make sure what is presented as truth is actually
Truth and standing on sound doctrine. There is no person, ministry,
organization or denomination that is exempt from that. And that is Biblical
Truth. Tricia stated:
"...The main string to
their bow is that the discernment ministries do not sufficiently expose
Messianic believers as heretics! But what Dillen and her friends always
fail to do is to make a distinction between those who have been saved out
of Judaism and now consider it to be a false religion (such as Yacov
Prasch) and those who actively promote a liberal ecumenistic Hebraic Roots
agenda, such as Rick Joyner.I feel sorry for
them because they have been deluded...."
http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
By her own admission,
Mrs. Tillin did not and does not have the credentials,
research or knowledge behind her to make any judgment
regarding the Messianic or Hebrew Roots movements. From
an email sent out by Tricia Tillin to a large number of
individuals, and which was forwarded to me Tuesday,
February 16, 1999 1:06 PM, Subject: RE: The HRM & your
stand:
"....However, speaking for myself, my own research
does not take me directly to the area of Hebrew
Roots and I am unqualified to make any judgements
for or against..."
In
light of the above statement by Tricia Tillin, the
reader might consider asking themselves how did she
then perform her assessment regarding the factual
content of my articles and what was her findings based
on? That statement was in sharp contrast to what
Tricia stated in "Not What you Expected?" An
Explanation". Referring to herself and her associates
in the 'discernment ministries':
"....Many of them
[including myself] have also done work exposing the
heretical teachings of the Hebraic Roots Movements..." http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
Again from her article
of unsubstantiated accusations:
"...Nobody is safe!
Every statement, nuance or article is scrutinised for "heresies" and with
the delight of a blood-sucking bat they home in on any rich vein that
appears to them to provide a hint of false teaching - but according to
their own understanding, not according to those of the Bible. THIS IS NOT
DISCERNMENT BUT PARANOIA."
"WHY DO THEY FEAR
THE LIGHT?
Here
is what the Bible says:
1 Tim 5:19-21
Against an elder [minister] receive not an accusation,
but before two
or three witnesses.
These accusers of
the brethren have set themselves up as judge, jury and executioner,
without witnesses or a biblical process to establish the facts. They judge
others through "guilt by association", through unsubstantiated
accusations, hearsay, distortions, rumours, through false assumptions and
through out and out lies. " http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
Tricia Tillin attempts to mock and
take issue with my showing the interconnectedness of individuals,
organizations and so on, and their alignment with false prophets, false
teachers, anti-christs and/or the
occult. The Scriptures that I go by are such as :' ...be ye
separate'...what business has Christ with Belial" "Bad company
corrupts", " A little leaven leavens the whole lump...beware the leaven
of the pharisees...which is hypocrisy., etc.
We--meaning the Body of Christ--are not to join with the ungodly in
spiritual agreement or spiritual ventures. Perhaps those not in
agreement with that, will care to
share their Scriptural position on this matter, that reveals where I am
wrong.
It is most interesting in that while Tricia Tillin puts
down my research, she herself uses the same techniques, as do most
researchers and writers. That is, taking the core subject and then expanding,
showing relationships, cause and effect, associations etc.
To put my analysis and associative techniques into an analogy. It's like
my articles on James Trimm.. Trimm promoted Saint John's
Chrysostom Theological Seminary which happens to be "associated" with
and promotes David Hargis of MBI. I then researched those associations. I evaluate factually and Scripturally, regardless of who it is, and whether
I am familiar with the person or organization.
Tricia Tillin uses
essentially the same form of analysis, for example, in her article,
Doctrine of Demons, after she 'critiqued' my articles and my person for
doing as demonstrated below. From her article:
"....CHUCK PIERCE (now known as "Apostle" Chuck Pierce) has been
appointed Peter Wagner's Director of the World Prayer Center in Colorado
Springs which is "a nerve center that coordinates, develops and
establishes a network for the worldwide prayer". He also serves as Prayer
Leader of the Spiritual Warfare Network Intercessors and Vice President of
Global Harvest Ministries. (C. PETER WAGNER is International coordinator
for the United Prayer Track and the Spiritual Warfare Network of the AD
2000 and Beyond movement, and founding president of Global Harvest
Ministries. In addition, he serves as Professor of Church Growth at Fuller
Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.)
Chuck Pierce travels widely, teaching on intercession and spiritual
warfare, and works closely with a number of other influential figures in
the Revival. He advertises conferences with Robert Stearns, Mike Bickle,
Reuven Doron, Che Ahn, Frank Hammond, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Hamon, John
Eckhardt, Bobbie Byerly, Dutch Sheets, Jack Hayford, Jim Goll, Frank
Damazio, Ed Silvoso, Carlos Annacondia, Claudio Freidzon, Roger Mitchell,
Ted Haggard, and Tommy Tenney.
I will be mentioning some of these "names" in the Revival movement in
connection with the sonship doctrines. As you will discover, the
networking amongst all these people means that the doctrines are planted
and taught throughout the Church, not confined to a small sonship
niche....." end quote http://www.banner.org.uk/res/theglory.html
Is it then alright for Tricia Tillin to
'critique' and 'condemn' me for doing similar analysis, but then apply that
procedure herself? Tricia went on.
"...Jacob Prasch has
challenged these people to meet him in an open public debate,
video-recorded for all to see, so that these accusations against him
(three articles on the Dillen site and many other references to Jacob
Prasch as an evil deceiver and heretic) might be examined and either
upheld or dropped. Unable to answer the call for evidence, they have
refused!
This by itself shows
their duplicity and hypocrisy. If they have charges of heresy against any
of us, let them show the evidence in front of witnesses!" http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
As far as I am
concerned, my evaluations about Hebrew Roots and the
Messianic movement are accurate, and the information particularly in
The
Spreading Hebrew Roots series, is being proven daily.
You can now
view false prophet
Michael
Rood on Sky Angel being promoted as a Biblical
historian; Perry Stone also on Sky Angel, has Voice of
Evangelism and his 'Manna-fest', bills himself as an
International Christian Evangelist and is seen regularly
on Christian broadcasting such as TBN and INSP teaching
the "hebraic roots" of the faith, and is found at many
Prophecy Conferences. He references the Talmud, a book
that in some areas
denigrates Christ, the gnostic Book of Jasher,
promotes and teaches Bible Codes and teaches that one
needs to understand the temple ceremonies to "enhance"
their Christian prayer life.
Bill Cloud of Shoreshim [Roots] Ministries, recently seen on the
Christian station, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) with host
and longtime associate Perry Stone of "Manna-fest".
Bill
Cloud has worked as a researcher, writer and speaker for Perry Stone and has
written articles for his Voice of Evangelism magazine,
as well as for God's News Behind The News. He is a Gentile who studied under a rabbi and learned, through the study of
Gematria, the Kabbalist
interpretation of the Bible, and promotes Bible codes.
Kabbalah
is of the occult. Bill Cloud
is a regular speaker at both "Christian" Prophecy Conferences, Joe Van
Koevering's "“God's
News Behind the News
INTERNATIONAL
PROPHECY CONFERENCE", and Hebraic
Roots conferences, and was on a "Texas Tour with Brad Scott" in
July 2004. Regular attendees to those God's News Behind
the News , formerly
hosted by Ray Brubaker, and which is now hosted by Joe Van
Koevering and seen also on Sky Angel, include
Jack and Rexella Van Impe, Perry Stone, Morris

Both Bill Cloud and
Brad Scott
are speakers at events sponsored by
Monte Judah of Lion and Lamb Ministries, who also promotes and
sells Brad Scott's tapes and teachings. They promote the Two
House beliefs. Bill Cloud also was a speaker at Sukkot
Alliance 2004 with Ralph Messer, Brad Scott and others.
James Trimm was also slated to attend as a guest speaker
and teacher, but that information was pulled from the
website. James Trimm sent out emails concerning the
events:

Through most of Sukkot. I expect to do some teaching and
to participate in
the midrash discussions intermittently...."
Monte Judah has been
billed at that same groups gathering as the "Moses of America".
Bill Cloud's teachings very much reflect Brad's Scott's and
others in the push to "Hebraic Roots" or 'getting back' to "our"
Jewish Roots.
What many have called
the extreme roots of the Hebrew Roots movement and not
affecting most Messianics or Christians, has been
mainstreamed not only into all camps of Messianic belief
and HR, but is moving fully into the Christian arena.

There are those who sincerely love Jesus Christ and
there are those who do not. No different than in the
"Christian" community. And there are many that I
have written about, or who are related to those I have
written about, that are culling churches and forums to
try to snare those not grounded in the Word of God. And
unfortunately there are many being snared.
There was no undocumented or inaccurate
information posted in my articles that I am aware of. Jacob Prasch, in fact, proved that he was not only
involved in the ecumenical movement, while speaking against it, but then
removed himself from part of it. That was discussed in the article
Update:
Jacob Prasch & Moriel Revisited.
Tricia ended her
dialogue of unsubstantiated 'facts' with the following.
"What should be
our response?
Discernment
ministries have no desire to waste their time fighting battles with Dillen
and Aho. I consider them foolish and misguided and I hope that in time
sense will prevail. They may intend to discredit us, but we wish them no
harm. We are content to allow them to pursue the kinds of subjects they
enjoy, so long as they leave us alone to do God's work in the way we see
best.
However, if they
persist in attacking, denigrating, maligning and accusing their brothers
and sisters in Christ, may God have mercy on them! For they are storing up
wrath for the Day of Judgement. (Rom 2:5-6) "
http://www.banner.org.uk/sum_heb.html
If Tricia Tillin and
her associates felt persecuted by being Biblically
evaluated or by a deceiver, which she claims I am, I think "Bless and curse
not." fits the situation. But that is not the practice of those
discussed. It appears that Tricia's 'evaluations' were written purely as retaliation.
I was and am saddened that she chose to do that. It was
a choice that goes against the Scriptures.
Galatians
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness,
temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh
with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the
Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking
one another, envying one another.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the
flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery,
fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies,
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt
communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is
good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace
unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are
sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour,
and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving
one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven
you.
Throughout her
unsubstantiated accusations, Tricia used the following
statements and words about: me or views me as such:
"Vicky Dillen
heads up a new inquisition designed to incriminate her
fellow researchers!", "lies
and distortions of Vicky Dillen",
"ongoing
campaign to discredit discernment ministries",
"libelled" ,
"Vicky Dillen and
her little group of agitators on the Net have
inexplicably set themselves against ministries",
"hidden aim in unworthy and unfounded attacks",
"is to discredit and remove the warnings of the watchmen as they labour
to sound the alarm to the Church!" "forgiveness
does not figure too high in Dillen's creed.",
"a bigotted inquisition, and those of a different
denomination to Vicky Dillen will be publicly branded as suspicious and
untrustworthy as ministers", "to
make a division,"
"only
result of Dillen's questionnaire will be
division, and bad feeling, and suspicions arising about the fitness of men
and women to conduct their ministries.", "hallmark of Dillen's work - suspicion being raised without sufficient
cause, attacks being launched by e-mail and website articles against
anyone she disagrees with, all to the detriment of the Body as a whole and
to the work of discernment ministries in particular.",
"
dare to set up a public inquisition for other ministers
on the Net"
"Vicky Dillen does
not work alone." "one member of a secretive "research group" dedicated to
destroying ministries ",
"true
undercover agents and agitators, using pretense, spies
and underhanded methods to do their destructive work.",
"proven that at least one of their members works for or
with the FBI", "deluded but eager", "a front, to plant
doubt, fear and suspicion, all in the name of
"research"!",
"this lunacy", "band of deluded followers",
"number
of undercover agents who infiltrate", "discredited
and removed."
"imagining
conspiracies", "strain at gnats but swallow a camel",
"underhanded and secretive investigations, and lying
insinuations,"
"ONLY
people who applaud and rejoice in the Dillen... attacks
on discernment ministries are hateful, cursing, revival
fanatics...people who put such materials on their
websites are white supremacist, right-wing patriots or
conspiracy cranks or conspiracy cranks who believe in
little green men from Mars",
"providing the enemy with ammunition", " the
delight of a blood-sucking bat",
"NOT
DISCERNMENT BUT PARANOIA.", "have
been deluded", "accusers
of the brethren", "judge, jury and executioner, without
witnesses or a biblical process to establish the facts."
"judge others through "guilt by association", through
unsubstantiated accusations, hearsay, distortions, rumours,
through false assumptions and through out and out lies." ,
"Unable
to answer the call for evidence",
"duplicity
and hypocrisy",
"show
the evidence in front of witnesses", "foolish
and misguided", "intend to discredit us", "persist in
attacking, denigrating, maligning and accusing".
As
we are reminded daily, the Word of God is like a two-edged
sword, and is the true source of discernment.
Titus 2:7
In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works:
in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is
of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil
thing to say of you.
Col 4:6 Let your speech
be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may
know how ye ought to answer every man. (KJV)
2Ti 2:24 And the servant
of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men,
apt to teach, patient, {patient: or, forbearing} 25. In
meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if
God peradventure will give them repentance to the
acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover
themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken
captive by him at his will.
Part of reading my site is understanding that reporting
on and researching
information is not an attack. Nor is it an expose unless the information
reveals ungodliness or anti-christ behavior or teachings.
Therefore--quite frankly, if the Biblical analysis of factual and
documented information is a problem for readers, I recommend not reading it
and rather doing their own research and analysis. The issue for me is finding the
truth. It means being a Berean as commended by Paul, and searching the
Scriptures and seeing if what is said is true. And that also means marking and avoiding those who teach heresy,
or anti-christ ideology, so people are not fooled by the lure of half truths that
many propagate, which is the snare in the first place. Our hearts desire
is to stay focused on Christ, His Word and share Christ as
God sees fit.
Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in
all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving
what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no
fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but
rather reprove them.
Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach
any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be
accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please
men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
